Sarah Palin Fails To Find Buyer For Latest TV Show Sarah Palin has so far failed to find a buyer for her latest television show idea in a further sign that her star is on the wane.
In the last few years Sarah Palin has made millions of dollars from two books and numerous public appearances By Nick Allen 13 Dec 2011
The former Republican vice presidential candidate's new proposed foray into reality TV would focus on her husband Todd's career as a champion snowmobile racer. It would be a follow up to "Sarah Palin's Alaska," an eight-part travelogue which was sold to The Learning Channel (TLC) for more than $1 million an episode and first broadcast in November last year.
That show followed the former Alaska governor and her family around the state, including footage of her shooting a caribou on a hunting trip, going on a deep sea fishing expedition, and visiting a logging camp. It broke ratings records for a first episode on TLC, drawing more than five million viewers. However, it dropped to three million for the second episode and received mixed reviews, with entertainment industry bible Variety commenting "Boring? You betcha".
Discovery Communications, which owns TLC, has not bought the latest idea for a Palin show. Cable and satellite broadcaster A&E Networks, which bid for the previous series, is also reportedly not interested.

It was $10k and 48 hours before her announcement, when I woke up in a cold sweat and realized I hadn’t donated at all.
Ever since I have thought of it as a terrifying experience.
Whew...

I seem to recall that you posted a vanity that trashed Palin after she announced she wasn’t running. Now you are back to Palinista? Go figure.
And, I am actually deaf (I don’t have eardrums), but I see this clearly. Palin isn’t the Savior of this country - not in the least and her actions regarding this race proved that. Am I disappointed? Yes. Will I live? Yeah. Can the GOP win? Yeah. Will Conservatism survive? Yeah. There are other conservatives than Palin, you just don’t see it. You are blinded by idolatry.
I just pray Romney doesn’t get the nomination. UGH.

some of you just cant feel enough pain to understand when youve been stabbed in the back!
Thanks for the confirmation about your 'feelings'. Conservatives can understand things that you appear to be incapable.
Intentionally? Yes, absolutuely!!!
You do know you aren't coming from common sense besides being such a DRAMA QUEEN!
Next time - keep it honest and speak for yourself - your 'most' is coming from pie in the sky liberalism - "whatever I want it to be, I'll just say it". Conservatives are in the 'reality' zone. I say next time because a rat to cheese doesn't move any faster than you to a Sarah thread.

Your entire post sounds like sour grapes... Well okay. Sounds like history to me.
...and is loaded with misinformation. Misinformation? Hmm...
What has happened to you? Nothing much. I came here and expressed my thoughts on a thread just like you are.
JD was a horrible, stinky candidate, and she backed Mccain before JD even put his hat in the ring. Hayworth Declares 01/22/2010 Palin Announces Plans to campaign for McCain 01/20/2010
She made her announcment two days before J.D. Hayworth announced his intent to run for McCain's senate seat. Speculation prior to that had made it crystal clear he was heavily contemplating a run. For a woman who led her followers on until October 2011, until she quietly announced she wasn't going to run, it sure seems like she could have been a bit more patient in January 2010.
When are you people going to get a grip and stop blaming SP for JD being a $hitty candidate. There are a number of aspects of this situation, that lead me to think Arizona McCain supporters are a classic case of living in denial. McCain had been a treacherous traitor to Conservatism for decades. His record is the worst I've ever seen, for someone claiming to be supportive of Conservative principles. Take a look a this sordid list of McCain's history. I believe there are close to 200 negatives (perhaps only 100, I haven't looked at it in a while) listed, covering most of McCain's life. LINK
At the most, I have seen perhaps three or four bad things Hayworth has been charged with doing. None of it even comes close to the treachery I documented about McCain. His dealings with Soros, Kennedy, John and Teressa Kerry, Feingold, the Tides Foundation... these are the major players of the Left, almost the backbone of socialism and anti-American activity in the United States. Soros alone funds countless anti-American efforts in the U.S. John McCain and his Soros, Teressa Heinz Kerry, Tides Foundation backed organization become one of them. His top campaign staff were paid six figure salaries in this organization. You see, if McCain had won in 2008, Soros would still have had one of his own in the White House. Now he's back in the Senate of the United States instead.
If he had been the candidate in AZ instead of Mccain that seat would have been a DemocRAT seat pickup. Everyone knows that Mccain is a prostitute, but this was AZ. John McCain out spent Hayworth by ten or twenty to one. Are those the actions of a man who knew he had it in the bag? Airing supportive spots by Palin for over five months on the main talk radio stations of Arizona, does that sound like a guy who thought he was a shoe-in? There is absolutely no guarantee whatsoever that the Arizona McCain seat would have gone over to the Democrats. The only sure way would have been if the Republican party, McCain's team, and all the people pulling for McCain in the state, had stayed home on election day. Evidently that's what you're telling me you would have done.
SP served over 2 1/2 years as Governor. Why are you lying? Palin was sworn in as Governor on December 4th, 2006. LINK Palin accepted the Vice Presidential slot to run with John McCain around the First of September 2008. That is 21 months after she was sworn in. I'm not certain she deserves credit for being an active governor during September through December of 2008, although you can tack on another six months in 2009. It is reasoned to state that Palin actively served at least 27 months. That is at a minimum nine months more than I gave her credit for, and it's reasoned to bring it up. Resignation July 3, 2009. LINK I know that some of you folks think her serving for 27 months is quite a feather in her cap, but for many of us it really isn't. We see it as a failed term in office.
How long do you think RRs term as Governor of California would have been had he won the GOP Presidential nomination, then the General Election the first time he ran? By the time he would have been sworn in as President he would have been Governor of California 2 years. What I find rather comforting, is watching you folks try to dig up something you think will compare with Palin favorably. Reagan served two full terms as Governor of California. He ran for President of the United States. He did not run as the bottom half of a presidential ticket then resign six months later.
You need to pick a decent candidate and stop trying to beat up on someone because you are pissed at the really crappy field. Stop blaming SP, look in the mirror. Let me explain something for you. Palin's most shallow thoughts have been regurgitated on this forum since September 2008. It has been over three years since she ran with McCain. She does not hold office. She is not respected by McCain. He has consistently used and abused her. I have not found this to be particularly flattering to her. Frankly, it angers me on her behalf to tell the truth. I have bit my lip on this forum a thousand times, if I've bit it once, rather than enter threads and voice my opinion regarding Palin. We're entering 2012, Palin has finally decided she won't run, and it's really too bad that it bothers you that some of us have had it up to here with her, but that is a fact of life.
You didn't want us being frank about her in 2009. You didn't want us being frank about her in 2010. You don't like us being frank about her in 2011 either. At some point you folks are going to have to come to terms with the reality that quite a few of us are sick to death of hearing Palin praised non-stop as if she were some master of the universe. She isn't.
Some of us would merely like that reality to be acknowledged. I don't give a rats ass what she says. I don't care who she endorses. If she can endorse someone like John McCain, she's worthless as a person devining who should get Conservative support. If she's going to tell the Tea Party that John McCain is one of them, then she's doing more harm than good.
I couldn't care less if you agree with me or not.

Ramius, I’m sure it looks that way to you, and the post I made just above this one is probably going to be even worse for you.
I have refrained from talking about Palin frankly for a long time. While I have voiced my opinion very rarely, I have remained almost mute on the subject.
Sarah is not running folks. If you must talk about her in glowing adoring terms, fawning at the drop of every word from her lip, please visit her Facebook page, and give the rest of us a break.
Thanks.

The way I see it, anything in the media about Sarah Palin is suspect.
Taking a look at the photo they used of her, it’s obvious we’re not seeing journalism but Alinskyism, same as ever.

Stop it. You are overwhelmed with a sense of your own self-importance. Your thinking I would care about how you feel doesn’t faze me in the slightest.
I never said I was looking for it. I was looking through the entire department when I was doing my shopping, though. And it was nowhere to be found. I looked at every video that was available because I was shopping for videos. And the Undefeated video was not in the store.
And unless you are a psychic, your supernatural power of detection has failed because “I am sure I already know why” is a false statement. There was no I-am-out-to-prove-I-hate-Palin-today type of scenario, you fool. The proof I had stumbled on was only because I’m a thorough shopper.

It is obvious that Palin enjoys the campaign part of running for office. She likes the cheering crowds and adoration it gets her.
What is also obvious is that she doesn’t really like being confined by the constrictions and boredom of holding a public office. She actually said this as far back as the Alaska reality show. She made an ad for the show declaring how she would rather do this than sit in a stuffy old office all day. This is freakin’ fun.
She probably decided quite a while ago to not really run, but enjoy the fun as though she might run. It was a total ego driven farce.
The way she ended the charade was pretty nasty to her die hard fans. Taking money for the PAC and the movie was not a nice thing to do.
