I don't see her endorsing Newt or Mitt.
So, who will she endorse? ...I'm guessing Rick Perry after the 1st of the year.
That's a helluva statement about the current condition of the GOP.
I would have to hold my nose to vote for Newt, much like I did when I voted for McCain.
The Grinch could very well take the Tea Party down with him.
But Newt has very little to do Tea Party ideals other than his early years and Balance Budget measure.....he is a Washington insider
Obviously, hes really kind of taken over among that group, said Jeff Jones, the Gallup Polls managing editor.
Uh...no.
If/when Palin endorses Perry, there will be a marked shift in perception, methinks.
The tear down of Newt has started. Allegations of affair:

The Tea Party support moved to Newt after Cain left but I doubt it will stay there.
These folks are new to politics and they know nothing about Newt’s past.
Behind newt? Not so much.
Not this Tea Party Member nor any of the others I know of personally. We can do better then the 3 Rinos: Romney, Newt and Huntsman.
So what’s his plan for Gingrichcare? Will we have to elect him first in order to find out what’s in it?
In 1996, after constructing two welfare reform bills that were vetoed by President Clinton, Gingrich and his supporters pushed for passage of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which was intended to reconstruct the welfare system. The act gave state governments more autonomy over welfare delivery, while also reducing the federal government's responsibilities. It instituted the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program, which placed time limits on welfare assistance and replaced the longstanding Aid to Families with Dependent Children program. Other changes to the welfare system included stricter conditions for food stamp eligibility, reductions in immigrant welfare assistance, and recipient work requirements.
OH cripes. Tea Party people, it won’t be long and he’ll shoot himself in the foot. He is a good talker, he could talk a horse out of it’s tail. He’s a prof, a writer, a man who loves the limelight, a man with good ideas, but as a president??? I think he’s a weak sister. The reason he did well as Speaker, was because Americans were sick and tired of the clinton/democrat antics. And yes, he did help with the taxes, but Social Security recipients are still paying taxes on their social security “income”.
It’s assumed that the GOP nod will be a battle between the Establishment, represented by Mitt Romney and the TEA Party, represented by: Bachmann then Perry and then Cain.
Newt is a big government guy as long as he and his people are in charge of it. He is not a TEA Party guy. Right now he is representing the “not Mitt Romney” vote.
The TEA Party candidates have risen and fallen. One may still rise again but right now, the GOP does not have a TEA Party candidate.
I’m Tea Party, and I won’t be voting for Gingrich. There are already two candidates available to choose from, Bachmann and Santorum.
Stop saying you’re Tea Party when you are going to vote for Gingrich because you’re not.
It’s oxymoronic.
Go Newt!!!!!!!!!!! the voters are rallying behind Newt because they like his solutions; they like his statement that all the republican candidates would make a better president than Obama; they like NEWT attacking Obama instead of the other gop candidates; they like Newt going after the media. As the Bachmanns go after everyone but Romney...Newt carries on and looks very presidential. The evangelicals and tea party folks are rallying behind Gingrich. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NEWT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geees I wish Palin was running (she should have retained her governorship...it would have helped her now)
come April when NY has its primaries...some one or another has usually been picked already and my vote is useless...
I could live with Newt more than Romney or Huntsman or Paul.....
I do not see Bachmann or Santorum coming close....though it is early
but nobody out there is A-#1 in my book.
If Newt is the best candidate we can come up with we deserve to be stuck with Obama for another 8.
