Sexual deviance, regardless of its truth, has already brought down Herman Cain. But Newt Gingrich is so far holding up stronger than his fallen rival. However now an ex-mistress has told the National Enquirer that the GOP presidential candidate, who cheated on two previous wives, is a hypocrite'.
Anne Manning claims she performed a sex act on him in his Washington.

You know, I think that Gingrich - like Cain - decided to run for President to boost book sales and speaking fees. I don’t think either of them ever thought in their wildest dreams that they would actually become the frontrunner. Their lack of organization tells the tale.
I mourn for my country when so-called conservatives give up their principles and let the media tell them who can win. A conservative candidate can win - IF - conservatives will back them - but NO!!! The media has told them the conservative ones cannot win.
GOD help us!
Yep, and it’s gonna be either him, Mitt or Obama
It’s Brit-speak. They use a totally different style of English.
But I did do a double take at the term ‘Sexual deviance’.
While I do not condone having affairs, I hardly consider that to be a sexual deviance.
Sexual deviance is buggering little kids and homosexualism and stuff like that. Nobody has ever accused Mr. Cain of sexual deviance.
Yes, this.
Ummm, in 1977 Gingrich wasn’t in Congress. I believe he was teaching at a College in Georgia at that time.
More important than organization though, is the ability to coherently articulate conservatism and proposed policy in a debate format.
Sorry, but the affair allegations didn’t take him out, his numbers were actually remaining fairly strong through most of that, it was him flubbing Libya, and then Cuba, and lashing out and calling those questions gotcha’s and declaring no cameras etc that just showed Cain wasn’t ready for prime time.
The one where he was found giving money etc to a woman behind his wife’s back for 13 years didn’t help him, but the initial round of stuff did very little to hurt him... it was when he started to fall apart and then lash out at others, that his campaign ended.
John Grooms is who broke the story Monday night on underground radio , Cain coast to coast. John is a campaign official. Here is a link - the whole show is just great but what I posted about, starts at 40 minutes in. So fast forward to 40 minute mark and listen. ....http://my.blogtalkradio.com/undergroundharddrive/2011/12/06/cain-coast-to-coast
One could say the same thing about Obama. He is the president now. So what is your point?
Apparently it wasn’t an affair because he “didm’t have sex with that woman”. It was a “Lewinsky” which isn’t really sex. Saw pictures of his first two wives. He had good reason to stray from them. Both Butt ugly.
Good grief, everyone knows Newt was a philanderer over 30 years ago...and probably for a couple of decades after. He says he’s a changed man, so unless you can come up with something post-Calista Bisek and his conversion to Catholicism, leave me alone. Go peddle your nonsense elsewhere, DNC.
Second verse, same as the first!
No, I think Obama ran for president with a much bigger goal in mind - to destroy this country! He’s doing a damn fine job of it too!
One of the Soprano's capos had a hairstyle like that.
I doubt it, its possible Newt could collapse, but I don’t see anyone left to take his place.. Who’s left?
Newt came out of the gate very shakey, and showed a lot of rust in the early debates and days of his campaign, but he quickly shook it off. Now could he lose his temper or something and collapse? Its possible, but honestly who’s left?
Running out of time to bounce to someone else, and who else is it going to be? Santorum? I don’t think so.
Could it happen? Sure.. will it happen? Probably not. Newt isn’t Cain.. he isn’t the result of folks PROJECTING on him, his faults are well known and vetted... he wasn’t just someone with no political past saying things folks wanted to hear, but clearly was not remotely capable of handling a campaign... He’s not a bitter nut like Bachmann, and he’s not going to flub in debates like Perry.
Newt, like him or not, has been running a smart campaign, he’s focused on OBAMA, not attacking other R’s... he’s said WHAT WILL I DO vs What OBAMA HAS DONE... and while I am sure when it boils down to a head to head race it might get a bit more cantancorous, he’s focusing on the right message.
Yes, Newt can be his own worse enemy sometimes, but I don’t see him completely collapsing, because unlike the other’s he knows what he is doing.
Anything is possible, but I don’t think you will see Newt collapse, folks who come to Newt already know his past, they may not like it, but have come to accept it.. he isn’t being propped up by folks projecting stuff onto him, or simply because he says what people want to hear.
If Newt Collapses, I think honestly you are looking at Romney as the Nominee.. I don’t think anyone left in the field is going to have any legitimate chance of building up anything in time, and folks who have bounced 3 - 4 times already are going to start to coalesque around Romney, at least some of them.
Time will tell what happens, but I just don’t see anyone else viable beyond Newt and Romney (By Viable I mean can win the nomination, be able to realistically win the general, AND be able to actually do the job, haven’t since day one. (Perry was worth a consideration, but his horrific debate performaces showed he will never be able to win a general election). I personally am quite suprised that Newt has made the comeback he has, when he first announced I wrote him off, but I hadn’t seen how poor the rest of the 2012 class was...
I honestly figured the Tea Party Bloc would have shown a little more wisdom and picked to back someone a bit more viable in the early days, though not able to win the nomination, perhaps, and shot for a VP slot.. maybe coalesque and stay with someone like a Santorum, who cannot win the nomination or a general, but would be a realtively safe conservative to push their views, and maybe on the outside wind up with a VP slot on a ticket.. instead they kept overplaying their hands trying to make second and third stringers the P nominee.
Time will tell what happens...but I see it as Newt V Romney, and since the Tea Party spent its wad pushing someone who clearly wasn’t remotely ready for prime time in Cain, they spent their wad on nothing instead of maybe getting a VP or something else out of their efforts.
In 1977, I was six years old and wantd to be a firefighter or astronaut. I’m now a gray-haired magazine editor type.
The nation was still liking Jimmah Cahtah.
Most Americans had never heard of a place called Three Mile Island.
Relations with Iran were downright peachy.
Etc., etc.
The media didn’t care about Barack Obama being a member of a racist church for two decades (and still a member right up until the middle of the primary season) and we’re supposed to care about an incident of fickle pickle during the disco era? Gimme a break.
