Unfortunately, I think that’s true. I just can’t picture Gingrich winning (against anybody), but I can see Paul pulling an upset over Obama. Paul may be weird, but he’s probably genuine. You can debate whether that’s a good or bad thing, but a lot of people respect it.

The “Iowa Poll” is by the Des Moines Register.. aka the RedStar&Sickle - commie Gannet fishwrap. THeir polls are not intended to reflect opinion, they are made to manipulate opinion. Screw ‘em.

Let me preface my remark with a "Flame Me all you would like, but I'm right!":
I think Ron Paul would do considerable damage to the Dems. Their base - likely not - they are true blue libs and will rot in hell as such. However, there are A LOT of Dems that are very Libertarian and would set aside their liberalism for a Libertarian acendency. The damage he would do in the ranks of the independents is tremendous, as there are quite a few with libertarian views. He may get flamed by a lot of Conservatives, but he would damage the Democratic machine.
That said, all things aside, I would take Ron Paul, as my greatest concern is the economy and the ever creeping governement regulations that are swallowing us all. I would pull the lever for him before Romney with certainty. Gingrich is now my guy - since Cain has bowed out, but I could sleep if Ron Paul got the nod.
Flame on, in one, two, three.................

The key to forecasting any vote count for Paul...... is the estimate of how many inmates at the mental health facilities....... are going to be let out at the same time.

LOL!
Everybody knows that the Paul freaks stack the straw polls in Iowa. In the real world, Paul couldn’t get 1% of the vote. he guy is a complete kook. I saw him in the FOX debate. Talk about being from another planet!

Pure BS! Nutjob Paul would get thrashed by Obama as bad as he will get thrashed in the GOP primary process. I would not vote for that kook against anyone. I've read some of his loony newsletters. I've seen his extreme leftist foreign policy. I've seen the kind of people who are in his main cult following. I've noticed the kind of whackjob shows he has gone on. I've heard his pro-drug crap.
