Unfortunately, I happen to agree. Gingrich with his baggage would be a bonanza to the Democratic Party. How stupid can Republican primary voters get?

Pelosi also served on the ethics committee that investigated Gingrich for tax cheating and campaign finance violations in the late 90s. "Pelosi" and "ethics" in the same sentence?
Seriously.

One of these days well have a conversation about Newt Gingrich, Pelosi told Talking Points Memo. When the time is right.
I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him, four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff. Not to mention copies of the records Hillary got from the FBI.

So what took place in the investigative committee and documents review is going to be public. There was a public report. I don’t know what, if any privacy privilege applies to the investigative proceedings and documentation. With Democrats, that is a rhetorical question, anyway.

The Dems are getting nervous. They thought they had taken Newt down over 10 years ago. Apparently not.

If Pelosi had anything substantive, they would have used it in the 1990’s to depose him. All that is probably left is unverified innuendo. She needs to keep in mind that negative campaigning backfires. Plus, all Newt has to do to respond is say “do you want another 4 years of these people running things?”
To: Sub-Driver
They aren’t even subtle about it anymore. Really, is anyone surprised?

Gingrich filmed an ad with then-House Speaker Pelosi in 2008 to urge action on climate change, which haunted him early in his presidential bid this year. Gingrich called the ad probably the dumbest single thing Ive done in recent years last month. "
A truly principled person would never sit within 10 feet of Pelosi for any price, for any reason.
For me, this ad sickened me!
