If Pelosi had anything substantive, they would have used it in the 1990’s to depose him. All that is probably left is unverified innuendo. She needs to keep in mind that negative campaigning backfires. Plus, all Newt has to do to respond is say “do you want another 4 years of these people running things?”

She didn’t have to. There were enough REPUBLICANS wanting his power, and to quash his reforms, that the Dems just sat back and watched.

There was plenty substance to any number of allegations against Gingrich. The dems would have "deposed" him if his own party hadn't had the good taste to do it first by taking away his speakership. Even against a weak Obama, he's going to have an uphill climb getting 45% of the popular vote by the time the media finishes airing his laundry in prime time.

I love people who dream. It may backfire for us republicans but it certainly works pretty well for the democrats. Hilary, Cain, Sarah and so on and so on...wake up.
