I think I’m going back to Perry.
lol
yeah ... next to drop out!
hopefully closely follow by that annoying Bachmann
Go Gingrich!
“...as candidates are looking for a candidate they can trust...”
Hope it’s a misquote.
how is he still out there ?
Gingrich is unlikely to agree to such a debate. Santorum can only cut into his base. Huntsman, on the other hand, can only cut into Romney’s base.
It’s probably not going to happen. These debates are a lot like professional boxing. A professional boxer is not going to box a small fry and risk losing his career over it, just for ego. The comparative payoff has to be worth enough to risk your career.
Gingrich is not likely going to debate Santorum and risk his first place finish just so Santorum can get a bump in his rankings.
And Gingrich would be foolish to take the risk.
I hope that Santorum is next and rises to the top. I’ve been on the Santorum bus since the beginning. Although I’ve had a good choice of seats on the bus, it’s been rather lonely. (I’ve also noticed several Republican buses going in the wrong direction.)
Ya’ll come get on board. There are still plenty of good seats available. And there is no nose holding necessary. And there have been no regrets.
If I thought he had the slightest chance, any chance whatsoever, Rick Santorum would be my candidate.
That being said, the last thing that would help his campaign would be a "LINCOLN-DOUGLAS STYLE DEBATE" with Gingrich. The thing that is holding him back with more moderate Republicans is the perception that he is perpetually angry. Gingrich would play to that.
Perry is right there with Romney in my pile of socialists I wont vote for under any circumstance.
IOW, Newt’s afraid of losing.
First, Mr. No Personality will have to get a base.
Perry will be the nominee.
So Gingrich gets to challenge whoever he wants to debates, and if people back down from the challenge (like Romney) they are criticized, yet if someone challenges Newt to a debate and he backs down, he’s smart for backing down? O.K. whatever, this primary is getting completely ridiculous.
The Republican Party crack-up is in full swing. Were is a conservative to go?
Well, Rick, if I were you I really wouldn’t want to be in the media’s crosshairs.
You might be as clean and pure as the day you were born..but if there is no “there” “there”...they will make it up. And people will believe everything.
Bottom line. . .'LOOKS' mean something. Rick Santorum has both a blessing - and a curse - by his boyish good looks. No one ever said 'life is fair' or that it at least, is not by appearances.
