Anybody watch the 3-Hour GOP Candidate Forum on FOX tonight? Care to weigh-in with your comments? I thought Newt was absolutely awesome. Rick Santorum was very impressive. Bachmann was o.k. Romney and Paul were.... well.... Romney and Paul. Rick Perry, bless his heart, made it difficult to watch. I held my breath as he halted in trying to stick to his stump speech talking points. Don't know if anyone else caught it but, Rick was the only candidate who, incorrectly, called the Attorneys General the "Attorney Generals". Poor Rick.
What I saw I liked but I didn’t tune in until Michelle Bachman. Guess I’ll have to find the rest on a re-run or Hulu.
For the closing statements I have to say that Newt’s was the most galvanizing.
Just another anti-Perry thread. I’ll bow out.
Rick Santorum is my “present” choice after losing Herman Cain today. It is hard to believe we don’t yet have a candidate that shines above the rest.
We had an entire live thread with comments by people who cared.
I guess you think your comments are so much more important than those, that they need their own thread.
We don’t have a tv. Anyone have a clip to post?
as to attorneys general, joey bite me probably thinks thats a big freakin deal.
“Michelle Bachman”
Michele Bachmann.
Big fan, are you?
Quite often shiny candidates don’t appear until the need is there.
OK...so I can’t spell.
LOL
I have to say I was fairly impressed with her answers...
How did Cain do?
The Honeymooners just ended and I Love Lucy is on next.
I liked the format. I think it particularly suited Michelle Bachmann. I tuned in too late to hear Santorum. I liked the AGs as questioners. They offered an interesting perspective and not the same old rhetoric that you get from the talking heads.
Oh Cain, he no play no more.
He go home.
Couple of excellent conservatives. Unfortunately, they were the ones asking questions.
I don’t have a TV, either, so I look for comments from blogs and Freepers, so lay off the criticism. Some of us don’t want al the trash coming into our house. We did not raise our kids on TV and none of them own one either, except our daughter. She has no service to it, only watches DVDs.
My favorite closing clip from Perry,”And my purpose was never to be President of the United States”. I can see that.
The best format that can be devised, everyone has the same amount of time and most important the media wasn’t asking the questions. I was a Ron Paul supporter both at the start and the finish.
His performance thus far is consistant with that lack of purpose.
What a rube.
Go read the previous “Live Thread” if you really want to know, far to much to summarize here for a vanity.
