Shifting support to Bachmann; if she is forced out, it will be Ron Paul. NO RINOs! (vanity)

Posted on 12/03/2011 11:16:13 AM PST by JimWayne

I first supported Palin and then Cain. Both have been hounded out. I am NOT SUPPORTING RINO Gingrich. I will now support Bachmann. If they hound her out, it is Ron Paul with whom I vehemently disagree on foreign policy. Sorry, that is how it is.

The other choices we have are the following: Gingrich the Global Warmist, Santorum the ethanol salesman and pork baron, Rick Perry the pro-bailout Governor and Mittens the socialist and abortionist.

At this point Tea Party gaining control of the Congress and Senate is important. If that happens, they can keep Hussein in check. Hussein winning a second term is bad but Mittens is worse for America.

I am open to hearing why I should not prioritize my support to various candidates in this order. I am not supporting any RINOs. I know I am willing to support Ron Paul in protest against the RINOs. You can convince me to not support Paul and abstain, but you cannot convince me to support any RINO.

That is why Wrong Paul is not even on my list. (neither is Romney or Newt)
I’ll support Santorum or Bachmann I guess at this point.

Yup. At this point it is no longer a matter of who is best but who is the least worst. No Perry, No Paul, No Romney and No Newt. That leaves Bachmann and Santorum. Unless you're interested in Thaddeus McCotter. :-)

I agree about all that clownish stuff, but we can deal with clownish stuff later. Right now, we have to deal with armed robbers.

Santorum is a socialist on economic issues. He also supported Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey and supported abortion in 1990. See my other post with links to all these.

Well. I do like Bachmann.

lol.

Too bad Sarah stayed out. She’d be the frontrunner right now, Romney would be a distant third.

Republican Jewish Coalition Bans Ron Paul From Debate: “Inviting Paul Would Be Like Inviting Obama to Speak” http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/12/republican-jewish-coalition-bans-ron-paul-from-debate-inviting-paul-would-be-like-inviting-obama-to-speak/

True.
In fact, Ron Paul’s foreign policy is even to the left of Barack Obama’s.

The Republican Jewish Congress will ban Ron Paul from their debate next week. They say he’s just too far outside of the mainstream of the Republican party.
Reason.com reported:

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Republican Jewish Coalition will host a presidential-candidates forum featuring Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum. Not invited is the GOP candidate currently polling around third in New Hampshire and second in Iowa: Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas). The explanation:

Paul was not invited to attend the RJC’s candidates forum because the organization – as it has stated numerous times in the past – “rejects his misguided and extreme views,” said [RJC Executive Director Matt] Brooks.

“He’s just so far outside of the mainstream of the Republican party and this organization,” Brooks said. Inviting Paul to attend would be “like inviting Barack Obama to speak.”

Maybe the fact that Ron Paul believes that Israel encouraged and started Hamas had something to do with today’s announcement?

So I’ll consider Bachmann. Cain is out, Romney is a liberal, Perry is pro-ILLEGAL alien, Newt wants amnesty, Huntsman is goofy and Paul is a kook. The pickins’ are slim.

Would you take another look at Rick Perry? He’s been thoroughly vetted after running three times for TX Governor.

Perry ain't going to get a lot of those folks until he truly apologizes for saying they don't have a heart when it comes to illegal immigrants, and his wife apologizes for claiming Republicans and Democrats don't like him because he's Christian. You don't insult people and then expect them to support you, and you don't throw a half-assed apology out there and expect it to stick.

Even if he does apologize, he still has to gain those peoples' trust back. It is not a coincidence that Perry fell as far and as fast as he did.

For you, socialism in America is okay and helping Israel is the only policy that is needed. For me, America comes first. I cannot accept socialism in America and if it comes to choosing between saving America and saving Israel, I will choose America.

You are not smart if you do not use all resources at your disposal. If you owned a department store and were constantly annoyed by a clown who had sharpshooting skills, and you also had to deal with armed robbers, why wouldn't you temporarily use the clown to guard your store against the armed robbers?

Yes, on the liberalism scale of 0 through 10, I would put Romney at 10, Santorum at 8.5, Gingrich at 7, Perry at 6 and Paul a 4. If you want me to draw the line to keep out Paul and all the others, I am open to the idea.

“I will now support Bachmann.”

I support her, too, and have all along.

She certainly has her faults, but no more than the other Republican candidates.

I had hoped Jim DeMint would get in the race, but it didn’t happen. But he, nor anyone else, is the perfect candidate. There is no perfect candidat; they all have their warts like the rest of us mortals.

But any of them can beat the Jimmy Carter wannabe in the White House now.

And Bachmann is clearly the most consistently conservative of the field. She is the one likely to effect the most change for good.

Well, if you can’t be bothered to find sources, pardon me if I’m not real enthused by your statement, “But that’s the unvarnished truth.” Because the cited video tells me you’re a liar.

“2012 Presidential White Paper #7

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann
snip

Congresswoman Bachmann received a 100% score in the Club for Growth’s 2010 scorecard and has a lifetime score of 94%. The average house Republican score from 2007-2010 was 78%.
snip

She co wrote an op-ed in 2009 stating that as part of health care reform “real tort reform would cut down on the costs of defensive medicine and frivolous malpractice suits.”
snip

Congresswoman Bachmann was the first Republican member of Congress, and the first of any major 2012 Republican Presidential candidate, to publically endorse pro-growth conservative Doug Hoffman over RINO Dede Scozzafava in New York’s 23rd Congressional District.

Congresswoman Bachmann also expressed support for Marco Rubio in Florida’s Senate primary on April 11th, 2010
snip

SUMMATION
With very few exceptions, Congresswoman Bachmann has supported pro-growth policies throughout her career. She especially deserves praise for her consistent defense of school choice.
