A new poll shows former House Speaker Newt Gingrich ahead of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by seven percentage points in Iowa, a state that holds the nation's first presidential contest.
According to a survey by the American Research Group, Gingrich tops the poll with 27% of support among likely Republican caucus goers, with Romney following behind at 20%.

With all these low poll numbers, I guess Cain is satisfactorily destroyed by the MSM.
I hope you're wrong. But if true... better now than during the campaign against Obama.
Time for a 3rd party in America if Gringo or Mittens win.
It will be interesting to see how much of an impact last nights debate will have on this. Probably won’t see the real effect of that for a couple of weeks.
Good luck electing the Newt, the guy who loses independents by 10 points to O elected.
When the 0 Campaign PR machine is done with him, Newt will be luck to win 200 EVs.
Oh you already have Ron Paul. What more do you want?
I would not count Cain out or anyone except Huntsman and Paul. Pauls ridiculous foreign policy is killing him. Huntsman is the most liberal of the group and is being supported by the msm and the reason is will be included in the debates.
If one was intellectually honest Newt did not shoot himself in the foot on immigration. His detractors will of course promote lies and half-truths about what Newt said in order to support their candidate.
IMHO the field is still open and a lot will happen down the road. I am glad to see Mitt still stuck in the low 20’s.
He can say whatever he want to now, because they won't report it anyway.
Newt knows exactly what he’s doing...he has the stage for revealing this either way one might view it. And it’s over a Holiday ta boot. Who’s watching the new spin? Few I chance...by the time the media wants to bash Newt over this the storm will hvae calmed and hopefully reasoned opinios will be out there to debate this. It was good timing to drop this out there right now.
I agree. In fact, I think you should go for it now. You and the 37 other people in the whole country who agree with you can have a good time. Funny hats, noisemakers, balloons, the whole deal.
Why, as Speaker of the US House of Representatives, commit adultery on his 2nd wife with a woman twenty-odd years his junior, all at the height of the William Jefferson Clinton imbroglio ala BJs,adultery, lying to Federal Grand Juries, etc..... He’s an arrogant asswipe that lives outside of himself, not responsible for his actions....”It is because I LOVED this country SO much, SO hard that I had to d!ck around on my wife and totally undermine my condemnation of Slick Willie’s performance in office....”
Top it off with “ I’m humane, I’m smart, all you suckers gonna have to live with the illegal Mexicans.....”
Give me a break...
I don’t care...I”m gonna vote for him if he’s on the ballot here. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR NEWT!
“With things going his way, I didn’t understand why he would make that controversial statement yesterday”
I’m not going to say he was right or wrong on his “stand.” What I will say is that I believe he was just being honest and saying what he believed to be correct; whether he is right or wrong on the issue.
If it’s Newt or Mitt I am third party for sure.
Both these guys are McCain or worse.
Good news. Newt for President
