Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.

The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.

CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.

Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.

Well that’s interesting as newt has , as Rush said, “caught them rather flat-footed”. So this should be interesting...maybe Newt’s got wind of this and just won’t give Wolf anything to respond to.

It should be kinda interesting but I still hate these debates. I’d rather see candidates interviewed in relatively long sessions. You learn a lot more about them.

OMG, did you hear the Huntsman daughters on CNN just now? They are Utah girls! Accent and persona - all! Perfect. Sorta like Valley Girls, twenty years later, with our goofy Utah accent. They support the unofficial Utah motto: "Welcome to Utah, set your watch back 20 years." Actually, though I dislike their father's politics, they seem like good people, and good daughters.

Really, compared to some other's daughters... don't make me mention names.

I might be with you on not watching, what I want is a debate on what they'll do on the total government corruption we have at present.

Without the mess in Washington being cleaned up first (treason, sedition, corruption), the rest is just posturing and talking point BS.
