Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
Newt uses the analogy of someone here illegally 25 years.
So what? You need to be deported and get to the back of the line.
Romney, Newt are completely non responsive to the issue.
See if any other country cares—they find you are illegal, they boot you out on your @ss!
Perry is as guilty of providing a magnet as any.
A real knee slapper...
Perry couldn’t sell hacksaws in prison.
What little I have seen of the debate, Michelle is doing quite well. Newt and others are pandering.
I want ALL the illegals out, even the one's who came her 25 years ago. Our Republic is being destroyed. We need to get deport of all these illegal parasites who are doing their best to breed RATS at an increasing rate.
It will take a miracle to save our Republic.
And that “11 million” illegal “immigrants” number is bogus. If I had to guess, I would say that it is at least 3 times that.
Nooooo... it’s the first imperfection seen on Mitt ever.
What next? Will he boogie or sing a gospel tune?
LOL. Just bein’ silly.
To all
My scoring for this break
Gingrich - Romney tie
Cain-Perry tie
Bachman- Santorum tie
Huntsman
Paul (Still running the presidency of Iran!)
I can't believe I wrote that.
Yes. Perry did well! Cream of the crop? Those are your words.
“Newt is talking thru his hat about military service. Illegal aliens are not allowed into the US military. “
He was talking about kids born here...and they are.
I wish someone would ask Perry about rules of engagement when he talks about boots on the ground.
I would say you’re right.
Wolf Blitzer: “Our next question will focus on the #1 crisis that our nation is facing now: PENN STATE!”
Mitt’s not only slick. He’s so smooth he makes all the others look like amateurs up there. Oh, yeah, baby. LOL!
what;s the difference between Newt and Obamas current stop deporting
people unless they are violent felons?

Attention Perry & Nuet!
People want to ignore that until the border is secured, this shell game will continue.
Perry has made it clear that we must secure the southern border.
Many dislike that he wont use electric fences with machine gun nests and C130 specter gunships.
No it isn't. It's a worker program. There is a difference.
A worker program can be controlled in so many ways. In fact, you can even make a rule that a guest worker cannot apply for citizenship except from the U.S. embassy in his native country. Nothing at all prevents that from happening.
Mittens giving Perry the look again. Its kinda like the Church LAdy.
LOL. Great line! All he needs to do is put his hand on his hip and then do the little dance afterward.
