Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
It’s not an elitist response - it’s the truth. I know people who own and run businesses who are having a hard time finding American workers with the skills they need.
I’m with Bachmann and Cain.
Looks like Perry and Romney are going to get a room together tonight... LOL.
what;s the difference between Newt and Obama’s current stop deporting
people unless they are violent felons?
it’s effective amnesty
it’s a slippery slope
How does Newt expect to get rid of those who don't meet his criteria? Newt must be defeated. He must be stopped.
Ha Ha Ha Ha. No, make that Mwuhahahahaha!
Perry/Gingrich 2012.
Didn’t think about that, did you?
Mitts hair is too greasy. He put too much goop on it

Mittens giving Perry ‘the look’ again. It’s kinda like the Church LAdy.
Good answer-absolutely correct.
And they also forget that if those illegals are working now, it is some american’s job they have taken.
Few conservatives and/or Republicans support taxpayer funded subsidies for ILLEGAL aliens. Don’t count on the support of any of the others going to Rick Perry, the man on stage who enthusiastically supports such a thing.
Good catch.
Newt would be even worse than Romney. You can bet Newt will legalize all the illegal aliens and try and spin it as a big success for conservatives.
I think Newt is looking for some Hispanic support. Up the road, it may make a difference in one of the primaries.
Sorta of like calling border fences silly and calling those who oppose affirmative action for illegals heartless.
Perry? When did he get in this race? LOL!
Just kidding, txhurl. You know I had to do it.
“Mittens Brylcreem seems to be wearing off.”
Remember... A little dab ‘l do ya
It looks like Mitt used the whole tube.
It’s not just his answers that are slick.
