John Kerry Equates Increasing Taxes to Men and Women Dying in Iraq and Afghanistan NOV 20, 2011 DANIEL HALPER In an on odd exchange on Meet the Press this morning, Senator John Kerry, a Democratic member of the supercommittee, suggested that taxes should be raised because men and women have died fighting for America in Afghanistan and Iraq, and he seemed to equate the sacrifice:

Kerry is a disgusting sack of puke.
Perhaps he means that the IRS is like the armies of Jenjis Khan.
No, that would make too much sense.
Did he ever have to pay taxes on his yacht? I detest these people.
If I were John Kerry and had his sorry military record of 3 band-aid wounds and the murder of a POW ,I would do all I could to stay away from mentioning a war.
John Kerry deliberately and cold bloodedly murded a wounded Viet Cong soldier. A war crime,He should stay as far away from mentioning real soldiers as he can.
Be nice. Kerry served in Vietnam, of mebbe it was Cambodia. Great war hero IIRC.
I generally think taxes should be as low as possible, but as long as he wants to raise taxes, I have one I’d like to propose: A windfall tax on the transfer of wealth that occurs when people like Kerry marry a rich widow (think of it as a kind of capital gains).
Was Kerry asked anything about the reported money he made trading on inside information?
No! He legally avoided taxes like a responsible citizen. He is just hypocrite for talking like tax avoidance is only for him and nobody else.
Idiot!
Anyone who suggests raising taxes on the American people at this point is advocating slavery and nothing less than slavery.
Our government doesn’t have a revenue problem it has a spending and waste problem and that’s what our politicians need to deal with!! But they won’t.

So paying taxes is akin to being a war hero. Am I to assume that this analogy works the other way - that all of those who take more from the Treasury than they put in are Taliban and Terrorists?
What is the ROE? Can we shoot the enemy just like our soldiers?
Couldn’t agree more completely. If we bring in more money, we are just going to spend more to outstrip it.
Scum always want to balance the budget on the back of the military. Sure, there are wasteful things in the military, but I don’t want one cent cut from the military budget until I see cuts in other programs as well.
