Interesting speculation that a variant of the Stuxnet virus caused the speculation. Note that the source is Debka, which isn't 100% reliable.

Don’t rule out a stealthy drone dropping a stealthy smart bomb into a critical node. Or even a carbon fiber “soft bomb” that causes massive electrical shorting over a wide area. Not a good thing do release during a critical weapons test.
One thing I know for sure: The IDF is damn smart and capable of pulling some original tricks.

Well, it’s a start.

A TWENTY square mile area????
I don't think the bombs we dropped on Japan devastated more than a one square mile area each. I could be wrong about that.

Debka.com, a site close to Israeli intelligence, but also known for less than 100% accuracy. That's being quite generous, I'd say.

Last Monday a huge, double explosion was heard in Tehran. Based on Western spy satellites, the following picture is reported by Debka.com, a site close to Israeli intelligence, but also known for less than 100% accuracy.Debka??? Try this.
Carnac.

Great news if it is true.

Looks like "Plan A" went off well.
But "Plan B" is still on the table.

The double blast involved an advanced Iranian Seijil-2 missile, and devastated a 20 square mile area of the Alghadir missile base of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards
Something is wrong with this report. Twenty square miles can't be a "conventional" explosive - unless it was a twenty square mile munitions dump/refinery/fireworks factory. If it were nuclear I am supposing there would be other indications.
To: Forgiven_Sinner
Not a peep from anyone else about this on the Internet right now.
Surely there would be multiple reports of any explosion even 1/20 of that size if it were true.
To: Forgiven_Sinner
"Moghaddam may have set off the double explosion himself by ordering a demonstration explosion of a new warhead for the missile." Somehow, this reminds me of the question asked by a brilliant NPR reporter doing a live interview of a survivor of a SCUD missile attack during the first Gulf War: "Did it....go......bang?"
The question was, of course, edited out of subsequent playbacks.
