He's baaack!
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is back in the saddle after falling off his horse at the starting line. At least according to one poll (Public Policy Polling), Mr. Gingrich is actually the GOP front-runner.
Many say it's simply Mr. Gingrich's turn to be the not-Mitt contender, now that Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Herman Cain have had their chances.
But that's not entirely fair. Speaker Gingrich has been relentlessly seducing GOP voters in the debates. Mitt Romney may have been winning on points and technicalities, but Mr. Gingrich has been consistently winning the crowds.

Goldberg ends his column by stating the obvious:
The mainstream won’t take the Marxist apart, but Gingrich will in their debates.

A few more posts from Capitalism-hating members of said crowd are sure to follow (”Newt (made money as a consultant! Throw him in Jail!”)

I like whatching him in the debates as much as anyone.
But if it is true that he was representing big drugs during the medicare days and still epresenting them during the obummer, or is that obumbler, health care thing, then how can we trust him?
Either he is going to turn on us or turn on the people that paid him all of that money.
And that is just one of maybe 199 reasons conservatives should not vote for him.
Liking him in the debates is like watching the fights. You might watch them for amusement but you don’t want them in the family.
To: TitansAFC
Sorry, but I don't see how Newt is all that much different from Mittens. Both are moderates who have a history of selling out conservatives and either would so again in a heartbeat.
They have everything in common from actively avoiding military service to being pro-big government.

If Newt is the nominee then some reason will be manufactured to prevent any debates. A debate between Newt and Zero will never take place.

He said he’s never been a lobbyist. Seems easy enough to validate.

Will he though? Because his way of ‘taking apart’ John F’in Kerry in a debate on global warming was to agree with him on every major issue.
Maybe you’re right, but let’s at least be aware of what we’re dealing with here.

Defining the word lobbyist is like Bill Clinton defining the word “is.” Influence peddling doesn’t necessarily mean the legal term lobbyist.
