Herman Cain drew loud cheers from the audience as he defended himself once again against accusations of sexual harassment, and none of his rivals challenged him on the issue as the Republican presidential candidates met for their ninth debate last night.
Facing his rivals for the first time since allegations of harassment surfaced just over a week ago, Cain got a boost from a friendly audience, which jeered the moderators for even asking him about the controversy.
The American people deserve better than someone being tried in the court of public opinion based on unfounded accusations, Cain said, sparking some of the loudest applause of the night.
Although Cain was seen as the most vulnerable going into the debate, it was Rick Perry who may have hurt himself the most when he said he wanted to abolish three federal agencies but could recall only two - the departments of Education and Commerce.
Commerce and, lets see. I cant, he said. The third one, I cant. Sorry.

I'll bet you voted for Bill Clinton in 1992 when his far more egregious behavior than what I've been falsely accused of was only alleged, didn't you?
And, I'll bet you voted to re-elect him in 1996 when it was confirmed, didn't you?
Yes, we Cain!!!

Maria Bartiromo made a royal ass of herself.
Herman is believable because HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH.
Debate Moderator: Question for you, Former Speaker Gingrich. What's your biology term paper on?
Newt: Juxtabronchial organ secretions in the higher mollusks.
Debate Moderator: And you, Gov. Perry?
Perry: Our Friend the Beaver.
Cheers!
I like Cain a little more everytime I see him, I judge a man by his enemies, and man are they working overtime to get him!
If he is so bad, then let him sink on his own, if his ideas are so crazy why do they scare the left so?
If he is such an “abuser” why are there no more current “charges”, a pattern of some sort over the past 20 years, like a certain Democrat, or, actually several Democrats... These charges are 14+ years old, and never proven, and the latest accusation was never reported, and she’s represented by GLORIA ALLRED? A name that describes her politics, not her outfits...
Finally, AL FRIGGIN’ SHARPTON is lecturing Mr.Cain on playing the RACE CARD?
Cain has to be telling the truth, all the liars say he isn’t.
Yeah, did you see the disgust on her face after the audience had the audacity to applaud Cain?
And to think, years ago I liked her. Haven't seen her at all since Fox News was born.
Sorry if this has already been repeated...
After the debate, a reporter asked Perry which was his favorite band? He responded Earth, Wind and err....oops...
Yes, I did. Brought a smile to my face. She thought she was going to get Cain to stumble, but the audience wasn’t buying it. A joyful moment in the debates.
You are right Hermann, like the allegation you and your handler accusted Perry of doing..That kept you in the spot light for a while and then when you admitted it was lie it all went away for you but your fans are still lying about that..Now with this woman stuff you hit the jackpot again you are in the spotlight again, are you sure you didn't plant that one too..It sure gets you attention free advertising for your campaign..
Texas Media are still trying to give Rick a hall pass.
