As he continues to battle media coverage over past sexual harassment allegations, businessman Herman Cain leads other Republican hopefuls in the first Rasmussen Reports look at the GOP primary race in Florida.
The latest statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Cain with 30% support while former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney picks up 24% of the vote. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws support from 19% of Florida GOP voters with no other candidate picking up double-digits.

This Florida survey of 788 Likely Republican Primary Voters was conducted on November 8, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Gosh, maybe EVERY candidate should have a scandal...
GO HERMAN!!!!!!! I never left you .. .don’t believe a word of it. Just keep on keepin’ on — 999 it is — and there will be more from where that came from!!!
Agree. It’s time we ALL started playing the game by the same set of rules. Me thinks such a revolutionary concept may scare them a bit, especially, the biggest racists on the other side. No doubt about it, they are SCARED right now as well they should be. Herman Cain, all by himself, disproves everything they stand for. No wonder it’s so important for them to attempt to destroy this very classy guy. It’ll fail because we can actually, emotionally “feel” Herman Cain, the man. And we like what we feel when we see him and listen to him. Any attempt to destroy that “connection” is doomed to back-fire and already has to some extent. Herman’s numbers are holding and his contributions have sky-rocketed!
WE THE PEOPLE love Herman Cain and the liberal sleeze are absolutely FURIOUS that they are starting to lose control. They better start getting used to it cause, like I said before, the party’s over. We’re taking >>> OUR COUNTRY <<< back!!!
God Bless you!
When they claim no candidate but bash conservative ones, this screams Romney or Paul supporter to me.
Yesssssssss!
South40 has the best charts.
South40 has the best charts.
this makes me wonder if Romney or NEwt was behind the leaks.
I like Cain. Please don’t misunderstand me...I’d enthusiastically support him.
But given the swirling claims - true or not - are you seriously saying Newt has too much “baggage” to be elected while supporting Cain?
Most of the BS launched at Newt has little credibility. As for his fooling around, I think we have ample precedent that the electorate doesn’t view that as a disqualifier.
Hank
It’s exactly the barrel lying politicians—mostly demrats and their RINO pets—go to to smear good people.

“A lot of money is being spent on Bimbos to take Cain out. Those gold diggers aren’t cheap (financially speaking).”

This is the first time, and maybe the last, in my entire life that I get to support a Conservative Republican with a real chance to win who's actually serious about stopping illegal immigration. Words may not be the same as actions, but the sad truth is we haven't even had tough talk on this issue from any front runner for the Presidency. He's said many things in the past, long before his Presidential run, showing he's actually against illegal immigration, and not just saying what he thinks will help him, like many of the other candidates are willing to do.
The liberal attacks against Cain have backfired. They gave him exposure, and helped him raise more cash than ever before, while making the liberal media look ridiculous by grasping at straws when it came to all the new “accusations”, that were just laughable. The entire headlines of the stories were completely dishonest, and people clearly saw that when they read them. Maybe the Conservative Herman Cain will be the radical change for the good that our nation needs. I'm going to do everything I can to get this man the GOP nomination, and then the Presidency. We do need dramatic change, but not the Marxism that Obama is bringing us.
