I’m going to donate to Cain too, not going to abandon ship like others.
If she can be show to acted unethically, absolutely.
She could be disbarred.
Maybe not. But I think we can count on the press being a bit more circumspect with this guy watching them.
Frankly, I think this is an excellent move on Cain’s part. The people behind this entire narrative are counting on winning the battle in the soundbites because they know they don’t have real cards to play.
I imagine that in the legal offices of MSM outlets all over the country, phones are busy.
This guy plays hardball. Expensive hardball.
He was pretty good at scaring CNN, NBC and the New York Post into quick settlements in the Jewell case, said Atlanta lawyer Jack Martin, who originally represented Jewell during the criminal investigation. I wouldnt be surprised if he employs a scorched-earth policy here.
You can some pretty nasty things about public figures, but you cannot tell untruths about them in the public domain.
This is going to get very interesting, especially if all these media organizations are forced to put out an apology and corrections.
You’re talking about something that happened more than two decades ago. People change and his last DUI was a decade ago. I’m sure Cain knew about it when he hired Block as his campaign manager. People will say that’s ancient history. I tend to subscribe to the “let the sleeping dogs lie” school. The candidate and and his campaign manager seem to work well together and that does fit into Cain’s unconventional approach to politics.
When Gloria Allred made the “stimulus package” comment (and I assume that came from her, and not her client), that was pretty low for a lawyer. Can that (or anything else she’s said, that can’t be attributed to her client) be considered unethical, or libelous, and therefore worthy of a big fat lawsuit?
Thanks for the clarification. I missed it by a Block.
Hopefully Cain will fire Block and find a worthy campaign manager.
If youre going to go to war—and I do adopt the philosophy that every lawsuit is a war and each step along the way can be described as a battle—then youve got to believe in what youre fighting for and in the person youre fighting for, Wood told the Chicago Tribune. I do that.
Just wait until the allegations fly about Newt’s divorces.
When were you for Cain? Who were you for in October? September? August? Who cares.
Newt’s divorces? Its been thoroughly rehashed. Newt is not running to be Pope. If you’re looking for squeaky clean politicians, forget it. Politics does bear a resemblance to the world’s second oldest profession.
As we write, Americans for Prosperity is investigating Block’s handling of funds. If what has been reported is accurate, he is in violation of federal campaign law.
I would find it most fun, if Mr. Wood could somehow bring a suit against Ms. Allred.
You mean the George Soros outfit? They know a thing or two about federal campaign finance law.
I’m not a Cainiac, but I’d sure be interested in who your candidate is, after all this bashing you’ve been doing for weeks and months...
Out of the others left, Newt has to take Mittens out. Maybe he will challenge Romney to a three hour debate, that would be fun to watch.
My fervent wish would be to see Allred disbarred. Most likely will not happen, but I can dream.
Maybe not.

I’ll be skipping comments on Cain. Lin Wood is a pit-bull and he doesn’t miss a beat. He goes after forums and internet posters, yes indeed.
