Howdy everyone!!
Call off the search party, I’ve escaped!! Had a pretty good session today. They did some aggressive debriding of the wound, which isn’t fun but they say it has to be done, and they started some tests to see if I will be a good candidate for synthetic skin grafts. Will have another test next week, then we can decide on the grafts. If they work, this thing can be healed up in about three or four more visits. But they’ve got to ensure that I have enough blood flow to the foot first. My pulse is very weak down there. Here’s hoping.

Didn’t know Jim was ailing again. Hope everything is OK.
Here I sit tonight on my third vodka, just lurking. I appreciated the prayers and good thoughts in January 2009 when I had a quadruple bypass. Last night I went to the St. George Utah hospital to visit my older brother who had the procedure last week.
Shit happens to us old bastards! Excuse my French!
