Herman Cain's campaign is revealing suspicions about who is behind the story regarding the former unidentified employees who accused Mr. Cain of sexual harassment in the late 1990's.

I think it does matter who’s behind it, if it’s someone other than just a “journalist sniffing about for a good story “.
I agree the whole thing should have been dealt with better.
It’s sounding more & more like he has a habit of speaking to or around women in ways he doesn’t realize might offend or intimidate or give the wrong impression. Not that he means to do it, but his ‘plain speaking’ may mean he also has difficulty editing himself to meet the demands of this PC world.
That’s just my guess until I learn more.
Will we ever learn to ignore the MSM and move on? Guess not.
We need to! If this is another good campaign donations day for Cain, we’re learning. Of course they are stepping up the attacks. We can’t let them control the story! Just say, “SO?”. No matter what they say Herman once did, just say “SO?”
The source is the Cain campaign.
Without any documentation.
First the leak was blamed on the Romney campaign because
the new CEO of the NRA had contributed to Romney..and also
apparently to Cain.
Then it was the Perry campaign.
Now, it’s Rahm Emanuel.
Kinda reminds me of the Lewinsky years when the Democrats
made Linda Tripp the boogeyman
to deflect from Clinton.
The central questions should be
are the charges true and
is there a pattern ?
Cain said an investigation by HR at the NRA exonerated him.
He should ask the NRA to release the results
of their in house investigation ,
while concealing the identities
of the accusers.
To continually cast about for leakers to blame
does not absolve Cain.
This whole story is so depressing.
You gitto be kidding me. Politico is the one who said a supporter of Perry was the source. That’s confirmation? So, if everything Poltico says is true then (A) a supporter of Perry is the source and (B) Cain sexually harassed these women.
Yes, it is
key word, “severance,” not “settlement”.
Cain is the one who should be worried.
He handled this very badly.
Oh really? Was this the same Rick Perry that was the Campaign Manager for the Al Gore for President campaign in 1988? I think that after the Reagan Reveloution Perry saw the wringing on the wall (along with a whole bunch of other RATs and became a “Republican” (RINO) because that was his only prayer of being elected to any State wide office.
I guess that the James Byrd “Hate Crimes” Bill was an affirmation of our 14th Amendment Rights to “equal treatment” under the law? Did a real conservative dream that up? Or was that the work of a RAT mole?
Trans Texas Corridor and the elimination of Private Property Rights was another Conservative cause that he championed. Real “Conservative” there, right?
I could go on, but it’s not worth my time or effort.
I see that you are one of those that is part of the problem and not the solution.
Odd you should conclude that when a) the Perry supporter is named, and b) the Cain accusers are not.
Ping to another ‘it’s not the allegations, it’s the response’ meme.
Yeah, having seen this smear routine played out dozens of times now I realize we're now at the 'the charges are bullsh*t but he played this very badly' phase.
LOL!
He should have said “Charges are bull hockey”, and been open about what happened.
The problem is he played by the standard playbook.
Therein lies the key...Rush talked about this today...NYSlimes reported it as a severance versus a settlement. Huge, huge eff'in difference.
And personally it has ticked me off over the last few days to hear radio and TV media talking about charges brought against Cain...No one has brought any "charges" have they? Charges would indicate actual legal action filed in a court of law. Have even one of these "allegations" wound up in a court of law?
However, I don't think he can count on the media to say 'OK fine' like they do when leftists are busted.
Because it's stupid?
Kerry Pickett is an awesome writer!
