Closer reading of the Politico article doesn’t even make it clear that there WAS a settlement. For all we know, these were severance packages and Politico made the weak link between their complaints and the severance.

They (the press) haven’t even looked at his college records but they are already investigating Cain along with every scintilla of accusations going back 20 years.
