OH come on, a CEO who does NOT know about sex harrassment charges against HIM by TWO women? If he didnt know of the settlement, he was an incompentent CEO.

Knowing I will get flamed, I would love to see the day when sexual harrassment charges are made against women in the work place. For the following, overt flirting with successful men, dressing provocatively in the work place, making sexual innuendo, sleeping with anyone who asks but mostly men who can butter their bread. and let’s not forget the women who love the opportunity to disrupt a marriage. Incidentally, I am a woman and had more than my share of potential sexual harrassment claims. I thought it was laughable, handled it myself and moved on.

He was with the NRA for 2-3 years (late ‘96 to mid ‘99) and had other Board positions with different entities.

Perhaps the charges were brought shortly before, or after he left. If he was notified, questioned and felt exonerated - the charges were no longer on his radar.

Human Resources and their lawyers make the decision(s) whether to settle or go to court - not the individual executive(s) unless the CEO owns the company. NRA is an association.
