Obama sending combat troops to central Africa to aid fight against rebels

President Obama has deployed combat troops to central Africa to aid in the fight against the Lord's Resistance Army. In a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner, Obama says 12 troops with "appropriate combat equipment" were deployed on October 12 and approximately 100 in total will be deployed including a second combat team and headquarters, communications and logistics personnel. The forces will provide information and advise and assist "select partner nation forces," Obama explains. The troops will not fight except in self-defense. The full letter is after the jump.

The U.S. should get out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. “Nation building” is a futile exercise. Putting more troops in foreign countries where the U.S. has no strategic interest is stupid. I guess that’s why Obama is doing it. He is truly despicable and treacherous, sending our soldiers to risk their lives for nothing.

I have to wonder if our Military now has the primary mission of international JIHAD to secure the global Caliphate itself.

We have intel to the effect that female Muslim US military personnel are now allowed to wear a hijab or burqua as an alternative "uniform", and the Chapel at Andrews AFB has been converted into a Mosque. The Islamization of our Military seems to be nigh on complete.

Are they in desert camo pattern or what? How long before those black US Army berets are exchanged for turbans... or a fez - like what the Nazi Islamic SS "Hanzar" Brigade was issued?

Lachlan.....I just recently read about this group, who masquerades as Christian when in fact they simply use the name....they are indeed evil and have no political agenda at all...rather the love for brutality and murder in the most vile ways and means.

But this a no show for US forces I spent time there during the Border War and the states do not have an army big enough, You go with this you will have a draft ala Vietnam. Didn’t work then won’t work now. You could send in all of the forces you did for Afg. and it wouldn’t work. Logistics are different jungle v desert.1 thing notice no east-west roads. The right PMC’s could work ala EO/Sierra Leone but everyone would need to understand no prisoners,no trial- execution. Won’t happen, but this is just a diversion.
