Gays Be Gone! A Warning to UK Government from Ghana
Lisa Graas ^

Today I heard one of the silliest comment from a British ambassador on the radio from Ghana. He was threatening my beloved country Ghana to cut off aid from us in the near future (probably sooner) if we don’t give up our high moral standards and start accepting and embracing gays and lesbians.

The government of Ghana is, for now, treating with contempt, the UK’s threat to cut down aid to Ghana if the country fails to recognise the rights of gays.

The UK government served notice to African countries, to drop their antiquated anti gay laws or face a slash in aid. The UK Times newspaper reported the country’s Prime Minister David Cameron as saying Britain is no longer prepared to turn a blind eye to nations that victimize sections of society, including homosexuals.

Even though I am not always in agreement with some of the decisions and actions of the current Government of Ghana due to differences in political ideologies, I’ll have loved to embrace the deputy Minister for this response of the Government on this important issue.

However, Deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, told Joy News on Wednesday that the government would not kowtow to external pressures such as the one being mounted by the UK, to take decisions that are inimical to its constitution and culture.

“It is important to recognise that Ghana is a sovereign state. Ghana will take a decision or will chart a particular path; it will not do so because we are being threatened by other countries or we are being dictated to by other countries.”

Mr Ablakwa maintained, aside the fact that Ghana has its own constitution and Acts of Parliament, “we have our wills, aspirations, our culture, and those ones will guide us and not what any state or other jurisdiction want, whether they threaten us or not.”

That’s another, so called, ‘enlightened’ Liberal getting bitch-slapped for their perverted gutter version of morality.

Lot of that going around these days. WE THE PEOPLE SAY, “ENOUGH!”

I don’t know if this is true or not, but if it is, it is to England’s shame and Ghana’s credit.

I have no brief for gay marriage but for the “lovely” country of Ghana (read third world hellhole) to say that they want the money but not the rules defies even my definition of “crust.”

Recommend they send all the carpet licking fudgepackers to Ghana along with any other LGBT freakshows to prove a point.

I’m sick of this BS.

Some of the African countries are Muslim countries. If you mean the Arab Muslims, I think most of them have enough oil money to not need foreign aid.

So is this little decision going to impact the Islamist countries?

I think it was the Battlefield Earth 10 book set that included a lead female character with “homosexuality for population control” movement.
Those who are punishing Ghana for not embracing homosexuality are the same people who favor abortion as family planning makes - making population control and population reduction the only common theme.
