[Many (Perry supporters)think Cain is trying to position himself for the VP spot on Romney’s ticket.]

I’m still having a hard time figuring out how HPV and Illegal Immigration (Perry’s two weakest points) have been argued ad nauseum in this debate,

I believe that 38 other states, besides TX give illegals in state tuition, ours is just actually legislated, and passed with only 4 dissents in TX.

how many folks declared Christie the tea party favorite?

Let’s not go there, Skippy.. my stomach is already squeamish enough today. :-] I hope Coulter’s is as well.

sidenote;; Listening to Rush today, even he sounds like he is losing the fire in the belly to endorse anyone.. like he did in the 200 California Recall when a conservative had a better than average shot at winning considering the conditions of the time.. and Ol’ Hannity endorsed aRnie.

History sucks and so do those who claim to know it well.

Drudge’s pictoral juxtaposition makes ‘em look just like Mutt & Jeff (for you noobs, old and occasionally funny comic strip). Christie looks like he’s pointing out the piece of pie he wants from the dessert wheel...

Big surprise here. /s (NOT!)

RINO Christie lines up with Socialist Romney. Christie, like Perry and TPaw before him, is nothing but a RINO ball gown tried on and discarded as the debutante gets closer to the big dance. The elitists and beltway boys have settled on their Socialist because none of those others worked well enough fooling and catching the eye of the conservatives, so they’ll just go with their favorite.

Sounds as though Laura Ingrahm is leaning heavily toward Herman Cain.

Why would he want to endorse Romney at this particular point in time?

It takes the news cycle away from the debate tonight..imo

Where do you think a vast majority of the moderate and liberal Republicans dwell? In the northeast! This is the old Rockefeller Republicans that Reagan almost killed off 30 years ago coming back with a vengeance. If the statist pig Romney can hoodwink enough conservatives along the way, its a done deal. Willard is the nominee.

Cain’s time as a talk show host really is such a small part of Cain’s background. The total package of his life’s experience is just so darned impressive. His time as a talk show host really just honed his ability to think on his feet, to be quick with a timely response.

I don’t get the sense that Rush is really all that negative about Cain’s quality as a candidate. He is just looking with open eyes at the whole picture being played out in front of us. He knows the Dems, he knows the left, he KNOWS how the establishment Repubs work and think.

It really will be an uphill battle for any conservative in this race. Especially one who doesn’t have deep pockets and legions of rabid supporters ready and willing to play down and dirty with the opposition. In fact, I wouldn’t put it past the Romney camp to really play up Cain, just to disillusion and turn off the conservatives who oppose him.

IMy guess is that it will be Cain. I hope so. She did say that this will be a “surprising” primary, or words to that effect. Christie jumping in to endorse Romney tonight just shows how totally scared the Rep establishment is of Cain. He’s my new rogue candidate.

Yes he does, and Romney needs to SIT DOWN. No one wants Romney to get the nod except GOP establishments hacks who do not care one whit what the voters want.

I’m surprised how yall have so easily thrown Perry under the bus. Cain won’t go the distance. I’m telling you, it’ll be Perry.

Rush has his best audience when stuff is tough. However, he is first a patriot, a conservative second and a radio host third.

He’ll come through for Cain.

Wow, Romney is smelling fear. The fear of Cain. If Romney had to throw out this card so soon, he must know he is in trouble.

Because so-called ‘Real’ conservatives and the media walk hand in hand. They much rather have principle and end-up with Romney, than get a candidate who’s with them on 85% of their positions...go figure.

Romney isn’t a self-destruct kind of guy. It’s the responsibility of the media (haha), conservative groups and conservative candidates to call him out...but guess what!? They aren’t do much of it....sad how we fall into this trap every election...without fail!
