Did I Miss Rush's Comments on Gov. Palin's Non-candidacy? (Vanity)

Just seems a bit odd that Mr. Limbaugh has not commented (unless I missed it) on Gov. Palin's decision.

Non-candidate = non-comments.

Please explain the Christie (non-candidate) announcement "comments"/coverage.

Rush is giving Sarah a taste her future obscurity.

“I liked her but she took herself out of the political arena...”

The lies in the McGinnis book took her out of the arena. It doesn’t even matter if they were TRUE, or not, they would have been fodder for the gays in the mainstream media to beat her with.

Remember, in today’s world, there are now two sets of rules, one for Democrats, and a completely different one for Republicans.

People were actually interested in Christie’s decision. He’s an up-and-comer in the Republican Party and would have changed the scenario greatly if he had entered.

Palin, no.

Rush spent almost the whole show yesterday boring us to tears with his eulogy to Steve Jobs.

“He commented forcefully yesterday practically the entire show. Read between the words he spoke.”

I was at work and have know idea what his take on it was. Could you summarize? Back at work; can’t track down a transcrpt to dig the info out myself.

You’ve got to be kidding in your response here. Leaving aside your own view on who is an up-and-comer, etc., let’s use Rush’s own word to describe what he thought would happen if/when Gov. Palin declared, he said (many times) that it’d be a “tsunami.” So, why not a word from him about it now?

Rush I believe is a Perry man from the get-go. It will become apparent only if Rick is able to recover nicely and as time brings us close to the nomination. There is no one else with the cash and the chops and the record to take on Rino Romney. The dems and the media want Romney because he will be a peace maker between the two parties. The Rinos want Romney because he will be no threat whatsoever to their own power. Cain wants Romney because he has said so, several ways and a couple of times, and finds Perry in the way of Romney’s future and his own stake in Romeny’s future. Rick is a threat to ALL of them. THAT is what I like. More than words. Nevermind the difference in the weight of accomplishment. Rick’s have weight. Romney created the pattern used by Marxists today to socialize medicine. It’s Romney or Perry. Socialism or defense of our borders. Romney or Perry.
Get the picture?

Not sure why he would spend time on it.

Well, let's see. He had been a frequent and staunch supporter of Palin from the beginning. He was always coming to her defense and it was clear that he was a big fan of hers. So yes, it's odd that he made no mention of it. He did spend time discussing Christie not running, but yet no mention of Palin, even though her decision made the Hardline with bold red letters on Drudge. I was fuloly expecting him to make some mention of it, but he didn't. That was very odd given his past profuse support for her.

If you don’t know nothing, you don’t SAY nothing. End of story.
If he learns something more, you’ll know.

Non-candidate = non-comments.

Most of the real world wasn’t hinged on Palin’s “decision”

Bologna. Christie wasn't a candidate either, but Rush spent a good deal of time talking about his decsion - your analogy falls flat. Rush has been a vocal supporter of Sarah, coming just short of endorsing her; so regardless, it is in fact odd that he made no mention of something that made the headlines on Drudge in bold red letters. Just very odd he had NO comment at all about it given his past commentary about Palin. Just doesn't fit with his history regarding her.
