This is what gets me.
If you dared to cite her resignation in AK you were relentlessly pelted with “She did it for the people of Alaska” bilge. She genuinely quit to save herself money.
But, now, after never having declared herself a candidate or running for anything, she is being called a two-time “quitter” by the very people who assailed you a mere 24 hours prior for suggesting any such thing...???
That is not logical, folks. That’s emotion. That’s not good.
I hope this is a great big lesson for a whole bunch of people.
Most Perry supporters knew Palin wasn’t going to run.
I was saying that a couple weeks ago when he won the Florida straw poll. There was SO MUCH ground open on the Right for a likeable, easy going, well spoken, candidate who could clearly articulate Conservative views that the first person to get there would win.
I don’t understand the people who didn’t want her to run. They never explained that to me in a clear way. so it never made sense to me. so i just assumed it was polling static.
she should have tried atleast.. to win the Presidency. She will never what her haters say to her grave. But the regret of not trying to save your country could and should sting

Sure, there were pro-everyone nasties to varying degrees, but none of the others ever turned me off to their candidate. I realize my experience is purely subjective but I’ve never seen or experienced anything else like a certain subset of vile pro-Palin obsessives on FR.
I’ve been in deep for Palin and now I’m leaning toward Bachmann. I know Michele’s stock is down right now but there is a lot of time for the wheel to turn again.

I feel really sad for this guy Singleton in Iowa. He sounds amazing. A great organizer and a hard worker. But, man, he’s gotta feel a little sad right now....

Take a real hard look at our current leadership with all of their political and governing experience and what they’re managed to do with it.

With responses like this, I can't imagine why freedumb2003 would be angry with the way supporters of Gov. Palin treated those who didn't support her.
