A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll shows businessman and radio talk-host Herman Cain now leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney among likely GOP primary voters in the fight for the 2012 Republican nomination. The exclusive poll, taken in the past 24 hours, shows Cain vaulting Romney 26 percent to 24 percent. The poll has a margin of error of 4.4 percent. Several other polls show similar results, establishing Cain as the new grass-roots frontrunner deadlocked with Romney, the establishment Republican choice. A new CBS poll showed Cain and Romney deadlocked, with each candidate garnering 17 percent of the vote. And a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows Romney leading Cain 22 percent to 17 percent a statistical tie due to the polls margin of error.

“I do believe the man is genuine, smart, charasmatic, and just naturally a good guy. Its what we need a good guy who loves the country. (with a few extra talents thrown in).
Whens the last time we had that in a president??”
I think that his initials were RR!
Please put me on the Herb Cain list.
thanks

“Now that Sarah has bailed out, watch for Cains numbers to jump dramatically. Sarahs base will gladly support Cain.”
Yes!
I know of two in our house. My wife and I.
“Just make sure to rub your signs with poison ivy/oak/sumac. Thats how I found out it was my neighbors kid stealing my signs! Wow Joe! Thats some nasty poison ivy! Where did you get into it? Bwaaaaa!”
Great suggestion.
Our California Poison oak lives forever. One of sons used to get it several times a year, and he swore that he never got close to poison except once.
Apparently, after that one time he, got into his sleeping bag. Then everytime he got back into the sleeping bag, for years, he got reinfected. Finally a great doctor made the diagnosis, we got rid of the bag. That was over 30 years ago, and our son hasn’t had an infection/breakout since then.
“We have a total of 2 miles of frontage on I-20 and there is no telling how many signs well have before it is all said and done. Im gonna contact his campaign and see if theyd like to put up a couple of large signs that could be seen by millions of eyes.”
Find out the costs to put up the signs.
Years, ago a group of Freepers raised money to battle the enviramental terrorists in Oregon and got a sign posted on I5 North of Medford.
We could try to raise the money for Cain signs in various areas.
BEAT OBAMA WITH A CAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the meantime, I will check with a couple of friends of mine that are running for local offices and see if they can shed some light on the cost of signs. I'm also assuming that for a billboard-sized sign, some permits would have to be acquired, but I have friends in town government that could answer that also.
“One of sons used to get it several times a year,”
When I was a kid, I could roll in it. Then, when I was 16, and a carpenter’s apprentice, we were framing a house, and a few lots away, the guys clearing a lot burnt some. I got it BAD! Can’t get near it now. I just bought throw-away rubber gloves, pulled some up, and rubbed it on the sign.
“..Its good to see a conservative finally do well...”
It was REALLY good to see Herman bitch-slap the always psychotic liberal Lawrence O’Donnel on national TV...
Finally someone on our side who spits in a leftie’s eye.
LO’D looked like he was going to shatter his teeth he was grinding them so hard - a Conservative was actually standing up to him on his own show.
BEAT OBAMA WITH A CAIN!
“...I do believe the man is genuine, smart, charasmatic, and just naturally a good guy. Its what we need a good guy who loves the country. ...”
I “get” that from him too. Plus he’s not afraid to get in their faces (for once) if need be - that’s a quality all its own, and it goes a long way with me.
I don’t want a compromiser or appeaser - I want to see someone who slaps these lefty assh*les back into their place when they get out of line and obnoxious.
I don’t think that’s too much to ask out of a candidate...ESPECIALLY if you expect to lead what’s left of the Free World....
Add a little impetus to it...
“BEAT FUBO’S ASS WITH A CAIN!” and show FuBo riding the Democrat donkey....
Backwards, of course...since we can’t differentiate him from the jackass anyway...
Just sayin’....
And by the way....GLOCKS ROCK.
“I don’ need no beauty queen...
I just want my GLOCK 19!”
(and G21 too....)
I have a G26 and a G17
The G26 IMHO is one of the best handguns ever made.
Glocks are the AK47 of the handgun world. They ALWAYS go “bang”...
I know folks that hate ‘em... I know folks that love ‘em...
But they all say the same thing - they ALWAYS work.
RE G17 and G26: Good choices. G26 for carry, right?
Actually for everything!
I shoot better at the range at 25 yards w my G26 than my G17, and both accept high cap mags.
RE High Cap Mags:
Haha...just remembered something - when the AW ban ended back in 2004, a glut of NORMAL capacity (15 round) mags marked “LEO USE ONLY” became available on the market overnight, and I bought a sh*tload of them for cheap. I still chuckle whenever I ever look at them.
I’ve shot G26s, they’re a bit too small for my hands. Found that the G19 fits better for me.
They’re all good to go for me, though. Love ‘em all.
Also very fond of the Springfield Armory XD9 that I have; fits all my Glock holsters pretty well, and the grip is a little more ergo than the straight backstrap on the Glock.
My G19 is an older Gen 1. Been carrying it daily since about 2002 or so, when I switched over from a Beretta.
Never looked back...Beretta’s are fine sidearms, but the Glock is just not fussy ammo-wise, and is utterly rock-solid dependable...
