A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll shows businessman and radio talk-host Herman Cain now leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney among likely GOP primary voters in the fight for the 2012 Republican nomination. The exclusive poll, taken in the past 24 hours, shows Cain vaulting Romney 26 percent to 24 percent. The poll has a margin of error of 4.4 percent. Several other polls show similar results, establishing Cain as the new grass-roots frontrunner deadlocked with Romney, the establishment Republican choice. A new CBS poll showed Cain and Romney deadlocked, with each candidate garnering 17 percent of the vote. And a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows Romney leading Cain 22 percent to 17 percent a statistical tie due to the polls margin of error.

Hi. Is there a Cain ping list? If so, I’d like to be added. I’m still not sure who I’m going to back, but I donated to Cain after the FL poll, so maybe I have made a decision after all. : )
Sure, I’d be glad to :-)
Add me as well please!
Will do! Thanks!
“but I think that Herman Cain is getting sucked into the vacuum that this has created. I just couldnt believe that Whoopie Goldberg seemed awe struck. It was like she wanted to go into her normal routine but she couldnt because she was like a little girl listening to a minister. I doubt whether this can last, but Mr. Cains quick wit and sincerity seems to charm these media snakes. It is almost a little scary.”
It is scary, because you know that if and when the libs are threatened that they will lash out and attack Cain.
Enjoy the Honeymoon while you can.
“I am so delighted with Mr. Cain’s recent successes that I don’t feel much like attacking other Republican candidates at this time. I think that is what the opposition hopes for everyday. As Gov. Romney, Gov. Perry, and Rep. Paul lose support to Mr. Cain we will be defending Mr. Cain against a lot of unfair attacks here from their supporters. It is already starting mostly from Mr. Perry’s supporters. I will defend Mr. Cain to the best of my ability and try to remind the attackers that their efforts are playing into the hands of our real opponents. “
Wonderful comment.
I am not AGAINST any candidate, I want to be FOR a candidate.
Cain is really shining right now and there are many reasons to be FOR Cain without thinking of any other candidates:

If Cain has an election office in L.A, I;m in and will volunteer.
I switched to Cain. He will take Newt as VP and rely on him for legislative saavy. This is over. God Bless Herman. God Bless the United States. Perry is total toast.
Bull, he’s talking about people, not the government. When they ask him about the government, then he will talk about it.
Herman Cain better win this primary because I won’t vote for either Romney or Perry in the general election. Illegal immigration is just as dangerous for our nation as the out of control spending and I’m not supporting anyone who doesn’t take both serious, and I’m especially not voting for someone who panders and obviously supports the nation killing crime.
Watched it. He was FANTASTIC. He held his ground, totally classy and polite. It was joyful to watch. I think they all seemed pleasantly surprised by him.
He just seemed to rise above all their petty questioning and come out totally in charge.
“Cain has had the highest positive intensity of any candidate on Gallup for 15 of the last 18 weeks (Perry got a bump for a while). Cain had his highest rating of any GOP every last week.
BUT his name recognition has been low. I think that has been his biggest obstacle. Once people hear Cain and his ideas, they love him - he tells the truth but he is not combative. He is confident, but down to earth. And he breaks things down in a way that people understand - common sense.”
Have you seen yesterdays Gallup results?
Their quote:
“Rick Perrys image is suffering, with his Positive Intensity Score among Republicans familiar with him down to 15, and below 20 for the first time. Meanwhile, Herman Cains score is now 30, the highest for any candidate this year.”
My two cents - Romneys is only 13 - I dont really expect that to get much higher, do you? :)
Hopefully Palin will endorse Cain.
Genuine is the key. The fear is he won’t be effective without executive experience in government. The average person cannot imagine how frustrating dealing with government on a day to day, even hour to hour basis is.
His pick for VP will be critical. He’ll have to balance regional concerns with practical experience and success. Who is his Dick Cheney?
The rest of what Cain said was spot on.
YES WE CAIN !
