In meeting with Turkish FM, Syrian president discusses possibility of NATO strike, says 'I won't need more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets to Golan to fire at Tel Aviv'

And now, Russia and China have stepped in with a Security Council veto, nixing proposed sanctions against Syria that were already watered down. The Gog and Magog alliance is shaping up nicely. Russia and Iran need to prop up Assad so as to be able to rely on Syria as a staging area. He is useful to them.
Somebody ought to tell Assad that he wouldn’t get that 6 hours he needs.
From an Israeli Airbase in the north, it’s less than 100 miles to Damascus. So in 6 minutes or less you could have a glass parking lot!
Assad just gave the Israeli Air Force his timetables. Now all they have to do is level Damascus within that time frame.
you forgot lying Sack-o-crap, Kenyan-born Marxist.....and I can go on and on...
“...to transfer hundreds of rockets to Golan...”
Don’t forget about this next time “peace talks” try to negotiate the Golan Heights.

Might I add "testicle-free, homo-lovin', fake black sock puppet".
6 hours will be way too long. It takes, what, 5 minutes to fly from a bunker in the Negev to Damascus.
Isralis won't need half that much time to take you out.
And when the Middle East blows up and the flow of oil is disrupted, where do we get our energy? Unfortunately, since we haven’t been allowed to exploit our own resources, it will take years. We are screwed.
Isa 17:1 An oracle concerning Damascus: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.
Ramat David Airbase is close to Megiddo in the Jezreel Valley. It currently houses 3 F-16 C/D squadrons, and is only 85 miles from Damascus. I saw this airbase two years ago on my way to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.
Stupid is as stupid does.
I wonder if Mr. Asshat actually thinks the Israelis will be intimidated by his threats...
“”There is no empirical evidence Obama is American”
That isn't as completely bleak as the news would have you believe, but it'd defintiely get more expensive until we got things going. Right now, there are oil booms going in North Dakota, Ohio (just starting, the Utica Shale), and natural gas booms going on elsewhere in the mid-continent (MArcellus, Haynesville, Eagle Ford). The Niobrara may be yet another, and all of this is onshore.
If we got the dingus incheef out and someone else in, chances are we'd be doing better with offshore opened back up. It'll take a few years to get the rigs built and crews ready (an ongoing thing, the latter), but it can happen.
We wouldn't be 'done', but rationing might happen like WWII, for a while.
Hours? Try minutes... "Lo, Damascus is taken away from being a city." (A Biblical prophecy which has not been fulfilled, to date, but may soon be...)
