Was watching Shep during the announcement and he said: “...the death penalty isn’t used in Italy or anywhere else in the “civilized” world!” Was that the little butt-buddy’s way of, yet again, slamming the U.S.? Libs never change...

Awesome, awesome news. Really shocking though they let her go. This was an anti-American crusade from the start.

It sounds like the DNA evidence was so weak that it should never ever have been allowed to have been entered against her. She must’ve had a piece of crap for a defense attorney the first time around.

FoxNews reported that the prosecutor of this case has several questionable ethical issues.

If she’s truly innocent, she’ll never get these past two years of her life back and it just goes to show how quickly one’s life can be turned into a shambles and she’s lucky to have been able to be acquitted.

If she is truly guilty in this murder, God knows it.

They wanted this girl out of Italy as fast as possible! Wash their hands of the whole mess. It was a no-brainer!

I have an alot easier time believing this girl is innocent than that own child murderer Casey Anthony.

One aspect...The DNA evidence fell apart...poorly collected, tainted, and chain-of-custody was faulty.

Another aspect...Apparently, the Italian DA was on a personal crusade to put this kid in jail regardless of guilt.

None of us know the full/real story...and probably never will.

I didn’t follow it too closely but read up on it today. I’m convinced she was innocent.

The guy in prison Guede—a drifter on the ivory coast—lied that they were in on it. He told two other people that amanda and her boyfriend weren’t there.

And then the prosecutor said Amanda corrupted her Italian boyfriend with her crazy sex fetishes. Supposedly Amanda, her boyfriend and this nasty Guede guy wanted to have an orgy with the roommate, but when she refused they killed her.

Guedes DNA was all over the place along with bloody hand prints. Amanada’s DNA was so minute they couldn’t retest it. No blood on her or her fingerprints in blood.

Guede lied and the prosecutors ruined this girl over it.

I knew she would be acquitted the first time I saw her. Trial? Evidence? Superfluous.

Let her go, take her out back and shoot her.. I don’t care.
So long as I don’t have to hear about her anymore.

Read and find out who did the murder..Would it surprise you to know it was a black from the Congo..His DNA was all over the apartment..Amamda did not speak very good Italian when she was arrested but after being in prison for four years she speaks it fluently..I never believed this girl had anything to do with the murder..Go down a ways to get to the article..

What is it with October 3?

October 3, 1995 - OJ found not guilty (murder).
October 3, 2008 - OJ found guilty (robbery).
October 3, 2011 - Foxy Knoxy found not guilty (murder).

Once again, a media-friendly female defendant outweighs a silent dead victim.

Perhaps this ordeal will teach Amanda to pick her future friends and playgrounds more carefully....but I doubt it.

She will not quetly fade away into the future. You can make book on it.

This is great news. I was in Italy during the entire first trial and what a joke it was. Even the Italians thought it was crap. Score one for American. Getting one of our own back after being falsely accused of a crime she didn’t commit. Happens all the time lately. At least justice has been served.
