Considering nothing really tied her to the scene (the crap the prosecution talks about really doesn’t mean anything), she should go free.

On the contrary. With Amanda being a local girl, I have been following every post about her on FR since this began, and early post from months ago were largely against her. The Appeals trial brought a lot of new information to light, and with it I have seen opinions shift here.
Actually only the head judge got 2 votes the other judge only got 1 vote as did each of the 6 regular jurists.
From what I have read it appears she lied to the court, giving false testimony that another man did the murder, although he was actually innocent.
However, he was convicted on her testimony and sent to prison for the murder.
Eventually the truth of her false statements and his innocence became known and he was released.
This girl was involved in some strange doings and she helped put an innocent man in prison. She may look sweet and innocent but she is no Rebbecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
I hear he just adores show tunes as well.

The Italian justice system is a sham and a scam. I saw many sailors I served with screwed when innocent, and freed when guilty.

What I found interesting and is sure to make liberal heads explode was the large cross that hung conspicuously on the wall behind the judge. I guess Italy hasn’t been scourged with Italian equivalent of the ACLU.
Yeah that guys DNA was all over the apartment—where it did not belong, if he wasn’t involved.

They've already convicted the real murderer. His name is Rudy Guede. DNA matching Guede's was found both on and inside Kercher's body and on her shirt, bra and handbag. A bloody handprint found on a pillow under Kercher's back was also matched to Guede.
I’d say it’s proof that our jury systems aren’t fool proof and that innocent people sometime do get convicted.
I knew she would be acquitted the first time I saw her. Trial? Evidence? Superfluous.
Statistically a white non gang involved woman stabbing another woman is about as rare as an Amish man being arrested for computer hacking.
Meanwhile the guy with the blood and sperm on the murder victim is less of a murderer than the room mate.
And yes, her story changed - Italian police can and do use physical force during interrogations - things that at Gitmo the left would describe as “torture”. Now I don't think it rises to THAT level - but almost anyone can be bullied into making incriminating statements (that they will then have to change back to the truth) after a long enough interrogation and lack of sleep.
Her being ‘somehow’ involved no doubt makes for a better story, a much more implausible story, but BETTER!!!
Often the most obvious answer is the truth. Often when a man breaks into an apartment and rapes and murders a woman - that woman's roommates were not involved.
Let her go, take her out back and shoot her.. I don’t care.
So long as I don’t have to hear about her anymore.
The real killer's in jail, where he got a reduced sentence from the prosecutor in return for implicating Knox and her boyfriend.
