Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain predicted on Fox News Sunday that GOP primary voters will find New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie too liberal if he decides to join the race for the White House.
Moderator Chris Wallace pointed out Christies views on gun control, civil unions, immigration, global warming that may not be conservative enough for Republicans, and asked Cain if Christie is too liberal to be the GOP nominee for president.
Yes, Cain responded. I believe that a lot of conservatives, once they know his position on those things that you just delineated, they are not going to be able to support him. I think that it is absolutely a liability for him if he gets in the race.
There has been rampant speculation in recent weeks that Christie would change course on his repeated statements that he will not run for president, as donors and Republicans continue to push him to run.
Most of the conservatives believe that we should enforce our borders, Cain elaborated, they do not believe people should be here without documentation. They do not believe global warming is a crisis or a threat. Yes it might be a little bit out there, but they dont see it as a crisis or a threat. And as you go right down the line, hes going to turn off a lot of conservatives with those positions.

Conservative voters will find Chris Christie too liberal and liberal voters will find Chris Christie too conservative. That is the way of the world.
Well, I now find YOU, Mr. Cain, to be a race-baiter and clueless about sodomites.
Come om Cain. Just tell us why you are the best republican to take out Obama. Knock of this knock off republicans.
And I find you, achilles2000, to be the type of conservative who will never find anyone good enough for you.
The man tells the truth, as usual.
That seems so refreshing to have a spokesperson for the people telling things like they are instead of soft pedaling PC courtesy surrendurisem.
“And I find you, achilles2000, to be the type of conservative who will never find anyone good enough for you.”
Either that or he’s a Perry supporter.
Concur; Cain outed himself today and I no longer consider him an acceptable alternative. I would not be surprised if he endorses Obama for reelection if we nominate a conservative like Perry or Palin.
All I want is a person who will overturn this insane policy of allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the first week.
Defend marriage.
Overturn all the health care.
Overturn all the regulations by zero’s henchmen.
Investigate Holder and his racist policies, fire all the DOJ and then rehire the ones who know the constitution with no racial bias.
Investigate fast and furious and where our tax money went to green companies while allowing drilling in AK, Gulf etc.
Close the border.
Investigate how the pro queer, cross dressing media worked with this white house.
See what dealings his wife did and how she spent money on her freeloading family.
Celebrate Christmas and Easter and stop pandering to the muslims and islam all the frigging time.
If zero speaks up during those 4 years then call him up and tell him that Bush was a gracious classy man and we would appreciate it if he could be more like Bush and that WE WON
Is this the stuff in your brain that you live with everyday, or are just shilling for your own candidate?
Is there anyone in particular that rises to your standards?
When is your coming out party?
I had already come to that conclusion myself. He is, however, absolutely great for where he is at the moment, and I hope he stays there and continues to do a great job.
He would also be a great cabinet pick in a Cain or Palin administration, because he’s good at getting things done.
I just don’t see him as a presidential candidate.
“Conservative voters will find Chris Christie too liberal and liberal voters will find Chris Christie too conservative. “ Same thing as Perry. So there is no need for a repeat.
I can’t see too good but is that Perry with ACORN and if so what was he signing?
So, let me get this straight...you don’t think Christie is too liberal, but, yet, Cain would endorse Obama even though he’s probably one of the most conservative candidates in the running.
If would appear to me that you are the one that has outed himself.
RE: Well, I now find YOU, Mr. Cain, to be a race-baiter and clueless about sodomites.
Exactly what did Herman Cain say to give you that impression?
