As you all may have heard, Florida has decided to move it's primary date to January 31st. By doing this they have risked of losing half their delgates. Also this has caused the early states of Iowa, SC, NH and NV to now talk about moving their primary dates (possibly losing delegates) to early January or quite possibly the end of December. This will in turn make for a shorter and more intense campaign season. Today is the deadline for moving primary dates. State filing deadlines are fast approaching and we need to be ready to hit the ground running once Governor Palin announces. We are currently compiling the filing requirements in the way of fees and signatures for each and every state. Here in NC, our filing deadline is February 7, 2012 and requires no fee or signatures. Governor Palin said in an interview Thursday night w/Judge Napolitano on Fox Business that she is holding her politcal cards close to her chest. She also used the word we when referring to the candidates and the debates and even brought up the Palin Doctrine. She continued to appear like a presidential canidate. Governor Palin has not offically announced yet but it appears a move will be made very shortly.
BTW... this came today from Organizing for Palin North Carolina
I would like her to run, but how has she appeared to you that she is running?
To me she looks like someone happy to be being paid millions while still playing in politics. If she can pull this off I doubt she’d want to run.
Of course, if she doesn’t run she may become a has been and not continue all the pay days either.
Catch 22 here.
I think she would be a fantastic candidate though.
I hope she gets in, but I know she wont.
I still don’t get it - what’s with the penalties of losing delegates for moving your primary? A state should have their primary whenever they want. Back when candidates traveled by roadway & railways... One could kind of make an argument. But with technology, airplanes, and the ‘net - I just don’t get it.
I hope she announces with enough lead time to set the wheels in motion in these large primary states.
I doubt the GOP can afford to penalize any state such as Florida, their leadership is almost completely discredited and trying hard handed tactics could finish them.
Didn’t she say she would be announcing her decision by the end of September? Just sayin...
September what year?
I can’t get your link to work.
Quite honestly, if you don’t support her, what does it matter to you?
Sarah fits the bill and in the age of the Internet, once she declares, the enthusiasm and support for her will spread like wildfire.
“Didnt she say she would be announcing her decision by the end of September? Just sayin...”
Aaah...No, Sarah Palin never said she would announce by an specific date. And Erick, when you think something up in your own mind it doesn’t mean it becomes another persons commitment. Just saying....
Excellent!
I suspect that some Palin supporters are doing some wishful thinking and because Palin has never ruled out running, they assume she will. I'm a Palin supporter but don't pretend to 'know' what she will decide.
To me she looks like someone happy to be being paid millions while still playing in politics. If she can pull this off I doubt shed want to run.

Those comments are insulting to Sarah Palin because they infer that she is just jerking her supporters around and is only in politics to make money. That reflects what Democrats say about Palin. I don't buy it. Sarah Palin has integrity and isn't playing a game. She is risking a lot if she runs, including her own safety and that of her family. Hence, she is considering a run very carefully and not based on sheer ambition or a lust for political power, much less, to increase her income. Your inference that it's all a cynical, money-making game to Sarah Palin is odd for someone who then posts this:
I think she would be a fantastic candidate though.
You’ve said all that needs to be said.
Thank you!
We..... wink, wink, wink LOL
Searching for a place to start a flame war?
'We', wink,wink,wink ....
The comments aren’t referring to her jerking around the supporters, the comment was that she also has to consider that if she doesn’t run, she may just end up a fading political memory of history.
She is making good money now, but that would fade as she becomes old news if she doesn’t stay in the thick of things IMO.
If she runs, she has a good chance to win.
Don’t run at all, fewer people are going to follow her down the road IMO.
