Tancredo bashes Perry on illegal immigrants and Muslims
KDVR-TV ^ | September 28, 2011 | Staff

In a column for the Daily Caller, Tancredo, who ran twice for his party's presidential nomination in an effort to inject the illegal immigration issue into the larger debate, is slamming Perry for his soft policies on illegal immigration in Texas -- and what Tancredo calls his "Muslim blind spot."

"What is not yet as widely known about Perry is that he extends his taxpayer-funded compassion not only to illegal aliens but also to Muslim groups seeking to whitewash the violent history of that religion," Tancredo writes.

"Perry endorsed and facilitated the adoption in Texas public schools of a pro-Muslim curriculum unit developed by Muslim clerics in Pakistan."

Tancredo cites a study by The Center for Immigration Studies, which shows that 81% of the 279,000 jobs created in Texas in the past four years went to non-citizens, a high number of them illegal aliens, to discredit Perry's central presidential argument -- that he's overseen a 'Texas miracle' of job growth while the national economy continues to decline.

And in 2008, as Tancredo points out, Perry helped expand the Muslim Histories and Culture Project, a teacher-training program spearheaded by Texas Ismailis that introduces Islamic history and culture curricula into Texas schools.

>>>>>>Anything significant pertaining to islam can be covered in a world history class.

I believe it is some sort of history class.

This issue does not disqualify Perry from being the GOP nominee or potus.

I hardly think that any hardcore conservatives got their feelings hurt because Perry acted like a child.

If people got angry they had every right too.

I see nothing sinister about the teacher training program on Islamic history.

Tancredo has been out of the limelight lately. He wants some media exposure. This is a good time to get that media attention.

Here's a hint for YOU that Tancredo DOES know what he's talking about. You need to thoroughly read the link in Post #12

The agreement calls for an extensive program of bi-cultural teacher training funded jointly by both parties. More than 200 Texas teachers have been trained in the program, which is ongoing. The project’s curriculum units were initially available for viewing on the university’s website, but have since been scrubbed from the Internet. It appears Texas officials do not want the curriculum examined by Texas taxpayers.

Islam scholar Robert Spencer, head of Jihad Watch, examined the program and concluded, “The curriculum is a complete whitewash and it’s got the endorsement of Perry. It’s not going to give you any idea why people are waging jihad against the West — it’s only going to make you think that the real problem is ‘Islamophobia."

Evidence in support of that theme comes from Gov. Perry’s refusal to support legislation sponsored by Texas Republican legislators to outlaw Sharia law in Texas

So if somebody who has not been in the limelight lately comes out in support of Perry, can we then accuse them of just wanting some media attention?

>>>>>>How many debates were there before Perry entered? 3 .. 4 ? did anyone lay a hand on Romney in any of those debates, besides sort of meekly mentioning Romneycare in passing? Why is that? Why didn't Santorum go after Romney with the spittle flying venom that he did Perry? Why with her last dying breath did Bachmann reach out and slap Perry across the face and not Romney? Why does Cain say he wouldn't vote for Perry in the general, but he could vote for Romney?

Very interesting. Good points. Worth repeating.

Romney is the candidate with the most liberal history of anyone running for the GOP nomination in a generation. I for one, will never vote for that NE pro-abort bastard.

I think to say that a curriculum is up to a school board is disingenuous at best. The feds and the state certainly have their paws ALL OVER the curriculum.

"Tancredo on the other hand was not even re-elected to his seat in DC....or any other position either."

Hard to get re-elected if you don't run. That makes your statement somewhat dishonest.

As for the "any other position either" part, he ran for Colorado Gov as Constitution Party candidate, lost to the D, but BEAT the R.

Not quite the failure you try to portray.

Aga Khan means roughly "Commanding Chief". In Persia's Qajar court protocol, Khan was commonly part of commanders of armed forces

This looks like a Islamic military victory in Texas.

Without a shot fired !!!!

Can you say ALAMO ?

Think about that Dio, he beat the R but the D won, doesn't that tell you anything? The fact that the guy has remained quite for years and suddenly he comes out against Perry over something that happened 10 years ago, doesn't that tell you anything.

Tancredo is being used and chances are he's even being paid, otherwise there is no reason for him to suddenly speak out about a 10 year old issue.

Perry does not choose curriculum for the state. Those who do are elected locally and regionally within the state. The education establishment is the group pushing Mohammedanism, Hinduism, New Age, etc into the schools. Yes, they don’t want the public to know about it. They also hate Perry because he supports school choice and has pushed for cuts in spending on government schools. ONLY A FOOL SENDS HIS CHILDREN TO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS ANYWHERE, INCLUDING TEXAS. But Texas is nothing “special” in that respect.

As I pointed out, the curriculum is multi-culti dreck that you find in every state. All government school curriculum everywhere whitewashes Mohammedanism. Others made this point in writing publicly before Spencer wrote about it.

The suggestion that Perry is “soft” on Sharia is ridiculous.

I voted for Perry 3 times for Governor of Texas.

You stop giving credence to naive patronizing politicians. Islam and Illegal Immigration are threats to the National Security of the U.S.A.

SLAVERY, TERRORISM and ISLAM The following is a description (slightly modified) from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness.

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs [Europe, Australia, USA and Japan]. Six percent of US prison inmates are Muslim. Like any other minority, they won’t integrate, but work to build their own separate community.

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. South Africa’s Muslim population is 2%, but they control 35% of the businesses, a large percentage of the banks and have five Cabinet seats while Christians (77% of the population) have none.

They will push for the introduction of halaal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves (along with threats for failure to comply).

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia; Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world, but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. (Ei: car-burnings in France last October.) Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats.

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning (India, Mindanao, Philippines).

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare [Indonesia].

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya (infidel tax). (Sudan, Kosovo, Lebanon and Egypt).

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide [Western Papua (New Guinea), Iran, Biafra, Turkey and North Nigeria].

100% will usher in the peace of “Dar-es-Salaam” - House

You don’t read carefully, do you? The STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION’s role is clearly mentioned. Until now, California and Texas have been the main influences on curriculum everywhere. The feds want to call the shots, and going forward they probably will. Nevertheless, the role of the feds up to now has been relatively small. This is why liberals hate the Texas SBOE - it consistently has been less liberal than California’s textbook bureaucracy.

Government schools are child abuse, whether they are in Texas or MA, GA, CA, ND, or anywhere else.

“there is no reason for him to suddenly speak out about a 10 year old issue.”

Well, there is if he cares about US sovereignty and the muslim infiltration of public schools.

There is no reason to expose schoolchildren to muslim propaganda. None.

Perry didn’t ‘hurt my feelings’ with his heartless remark - and believe me, my skin is thick enough. Sorry, but I don’t buy his apology because he hasn’t denounced the law and has kept quiet about it while blaming the Feds for not doing enough to protect the border.

As Gov of Texas, he should have led the charge AGAINST giving illegals preferential treatment and encouraging more to enter our country. The legislature would have struck it down in a heartbeat in fear of voter retaliation if Perry would have had the guts to step-up and lead.

Perry can’t have it both ways - whining about the border while paying illegals to break the law to go to our colleges (in preference over our kids) is the height of hypocrisy.
