MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Police found a woman's decapitated body in a Mexican border city on Saturday, alongside a handwritten sign saying she was killed in retaliation for her postings on a social networking site.
The gruesome killing may be the third so far this month in which people in Nuevo Laredo were killed by a drug cartel for what they said on the internet.

None of them torched yet? That would give a whole new meaning to being flamed for something you said on the internet.

Behold what the War on Some Drugs has wrought; the forces of evil gather strength, and the forces of good grow smaller.

Mexico has virtually become a narcostate. There have been other narcostates, but none this large or close.

Why didn't she just flee to Texas so her kids can get a $151 discount at our Jr. Colleges?
This why people are flooding across our border. They are running for their lives, not to get in-state tuition.

Even the Colombians have decided to take road trips instead of Cancun this year.

If you think armed cartels with more money than the governments of the countries they inhabit is a good thing, then good for you.

You are drastically reducing my odds of getting a Unicorn.
Stop that.

Mexicans have been flooding our country long before the drug war. If anything the decades of illegal immigration to the United States from Mexico has been leaving a void that has helped the drug cartel gain power in Mexico.
It's time to deport illegals so that they can go and take their country back. At least the Kuwaitis paid us to do their dirty work while they went to the discos in Cairo.

Oh. Unicorns aren’t in the USP, sorry ‘bout that. Can’t order one from Walgreens no matter what happens to medication regulations in the USA.
I do think it reflects strongly upon the misery index that so big a quantity of street drugs is desired by Americans. I’ve long felt that if the Obama administration was really serious about abating the Mexicanarcotic problem, short of sending the Marines in to attack the cartels, it could flood the country with gritty black-and-white public service ads showing the Mexican cartel violence and urging all Americans to refrain from feeding the Mexican narcotics monster. (Be it ever so humble, there’s no weed like home’s.)

you really think that these animals wouldn’t be animals except for the drug money?....they’d be killing and beheading over anything as long as they had power...when drugs become obsolete, if ever, it’ll be prositution, etc

Life is short and I don’t want to miss anything.
I never understood people’s desire to ‘tune out’ for even one single nanosecond.
I want to see it all and see it clearly.
Since the Mexicans are shooting across the river and hitting Americans, it’s only fair that the Americans get to shoot back.

Mexico’s had effective legalization of drugs for, what, a year now? Gosh, look at how the situation’s gotten so much better.
