I hope Gov. Rick Perry enjoyed his six week run as the front runner of the GOP field, because it's now over. Perry has had three debates. His first was mediocre. His second debate performance was weaker than his first, and last nights debate was worse than either of the first two. He comes across as unprepared, sometimes unsteady, and at times his answers border on being incoherent. And his stand on illegal immigration will hurt him with the GOP base. A lot of conservatives rallied to Perry based on what they assumed he was, having seen him hardly at all.

I fear there are Americans that watrched the debate that believe Romeny when he said on day one of his presidency he weill repeal Obamacare by executive order.

Except he did NOT say that. Nobody can repeal by executive order but you can effectively end it via blanket waiver and THEN repeal it legislatively. With a Republican House and Senate, I figure it would be repealed by no later than the end of Winter 2013 and probably a lot sooner.

According to Mark Levin, those waivers are illegal and will not be enforced. Apparently, most of the union rank and file are not yet aware that the waivers are bogus.

Your Perry observations are spot on. As a voting delegate here in Orlando for today's straw poll, here are a few observations:

1. Florida GOP straw poll track record = 100% accuracy predicting the GOP presidential nominee.

2. Perry lost a lot of support after Thursday's debate debacle.

3. Herman Cain's campaign booth at the convention center was mobbed yesterday afternoon with people buying buttons and t-shirts. The young man working the booth couldn't re-stock the merchandise fast enough.

4. Herman Cain's meet and greet last night at the Rosen Centre required a last minute change of venue because the line waiting to get in stretched more than half the length of the huge building at 2-4 people deep. The larger room was packed like a sardine can. The crowd was electrified.

Herman Cain may be the proverbial dark horse candidate. He is--hands down--the Great Communicator. No swagger, not slick. He captivates the audience.

You’re making assumptions to fit your personal preferences. Any repeal of Obamacare will come from the 2012 election results for Congress. It’s safe to assume Republicans will hold the House so the fight to repeal Obamacare will be in the Senate. It might come down to the Republican senators willingness to skirt Senate rules as the Dims were willing to do to pass it.

The biggest obstacles might be Senate RINOs such as McCain and the two from Maine. This would be the sort of situation McCain loves, another chance to stab Republicans in the back in the name of “collegiality” of the Senate.

And if a Republican can complicate the process before an actual repeal, then he or she should.

This is where the Republican Party and Conservative movement is headed !

Year 2040, after another crushing defeat by the Democratic Party, the RNC said they will field a better candidate the next round. Mitt Romney has said that he may still run the next time, and the Main-stream media has told him they would promote his run.

The base has, however placed their support for candidates that are not going to run, and in the debates they have managed to destroy any other candidate that has a chance to beat the Democrat Candidate.

The President-Elect, Another Loser -D, had plenty of data to beat Mitt Romney during the Presidential Debates, because the Republican base had supplied all the dirt needed that was used during their debate. Once again the GOP base said they would hold onto their single issue views, even if it would mean the defeat of their candidate.

President-Elect Another Looser - D, said he probably would not have a Supreme Court pick during his term, but the entire Court is now Liberals, Socialists and Communist anyway, but he was sure the Tax-Rate could be raised to 93% for the middle class and 100% for the rich.

Yep. Perry has really hurt himself, but he was put I’m a real bad spot these first debates with everyone on every side going after him.

He’s being attacked from the left, right, and center establishment. As someone said it is unbleeiveably hard to run for president. Much more than we can imagine. He’s really stumbled badly in these debates. Both by alienating key voters and showing a lack of debate skills.

No one else in my memory in past cycles has had to deal with this type of attack out of the gates. Perry has had great speeches, good fundraising, and great retail campaigning. The debates may kill his campaign if he doesn’t. Come back In the nest one a different person.

Romney was panned in early debates last time but spent the past 5 years prepping. If perry is not a quick student, and the rest of the field ignores Romney only going after Perry, he has tough road now.

The issue is not just that Rick Perry is a bad debater. He's having horrible debates in part because he's just not that conservative, not that consistent, and has a big ego.

His stances on illegal immigration are not conservative. We have the illegal immigration problem because we've created huge incentives for illegal aliens to come to this country. Rick Perry and his policies have been part of the problem. In-state tuition is another incentive for them to come here and bring their children. His support of bi-national healthcare with Mexico could become another incentive. His unwillingness to support Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law is another example. At the debate, he pointed out that he joined Arizona's suit against the federal government, but that just makes his stance a flip-flop. His calling anyone who disagrees with him heartless is another bit of liberal-speak that shows his inability to control his injured ego.

His executive order on the HPV vaccine is not conservative. Taking a health decision out of the hands of parents is not conservative. He said that he just wanted to make insurance pay for the vaccine, but putting that financial burden on the insurance companies only ensures that the burden will be passed along to the people paying insurance. He added another mandate to the people and the insurance companies. This disease isn't something that is passed by casual contact. Trying to draw an analogy to measles or small pox is not valid. He admitted in the previous debate that he should have gone with opt-in instead of opt-out, but in the Fox/Google debate, he tried to pretend that the opt-out should have been good enough for anyone. This opt-out was a nightmare of bureaucratic red tape. He once again showed arrogance and a bit of a flip-flop. He tried to mislead people at the debate about the influences that led to the executive order. He didn't meet with that cervical cancer victim until after he had issued the executive order. Whatever impact she had on him, she wasn't the reason for the executive order.

His views on Social Security are hard to characterize as conservative or liberal because they are all over the map. The problem is not that he's a poor debater. The problem is that he doesn't know where he should stand on the issue.

Soon, his conflicting stances on TARP will be better known. He's claiming that he didn't support TARP, but he wrote a letter as head of the governors' association asking Congress to pass TARP. Much of the problem with these loans came because Congress passed laws that forced banks to make loans to more unqualified buyers. Because Congress passed that law, I'm not as upset about Congress trying to solve the problem created by the law. However, Rick Perry needs to be honest with where he's been on the issue.

Rick Perry's problem is not just a lack of debating skills. His problem is that he has taken stands all over the map, and he's afraid of people seeing where he has stood.

A friend got to meet Perry after the 2nd debate. She was shocked at Perry's attitude.... concluding that Perry is a frat boy at heart, with no real depth...............

Perry's college days at Texas A&M were defined by an all-male, all-military culture.

Perry accomplished e-v-e-r-y one of the three goals he set for himself in college.

No. 2...Perry wanted to be Yell Leader (cheerleader).
