I hope Gov. Rick Perry enjoyed his six week run as the front runner of the GOP field, because it's now over. Perry has had three debates. His first was mediocre. His second debate performance was weaker than his first, and last nights debate was worse than either of the first two. He comes across as unprepared, sometimes unsteady, and at times his answers border on being incoherent. And his stand on illegal immigration will hurt him with the GOP base. A lot of conservatives rallied to Perry based on what they assumed he was, having seen him hardly at all.

Enter Sarah, stage right?
It is because Perry is not ready for prime time......not that Romney is so good. Can you believe what a fool Romney is making Perry look like. I am glad that we found out how weak Perry is now before the general. How embarrassing that would have been.
Enter Sarah, stage right?
You are so right. She has too. She was been watching these stooges for long enough. For the sake of the country, WE NEED HER NOW MORE THAN EVER BEFORE.
We’re seeing the value of running for president for a long time—Romney for about six years now. He always seemed a little off when he was governor, but he is much more polished in front of the cameras.
It will be ironic if Palin (though she of course had a history with TV before) comes across well if she runs due to all the practice the vile libs have given her.
Well if conservatives leave Perry they sure as hell are not going to Romney!
I can’t stand Romney! He comes across as such a phoney! Tries too darn hard. I did vote for him in the primary last time but I just can’t this cycle! Not sure who I’ll vote for. Maybe I’ll let the rest of the Repubs choose!!! LOL
Is Sarah delaying her decision to avoid the debates? I am merely asking.
The defeat of this menace we have now in the whitehouse should be the major goal. What they want and strive for is division so this menace can squeeze in and win another 4 years. Lets be smart!
Is Sarah delaying her decision to avoid the debates?
+++++++++
I don’t think so. She is an excellent debater. I think she is waiting around to see if a strong conservative candidate will emerge - one strong enough to defeat Romney and then Obama. Perry looked like he filled the bill. But at this point I think we are all starting to question that assumption.
Bottom line: I think Sarah will run if it looks like Romney is overtaking Perry. And that is a strong possibility.
That's the one thing I don't despise about Romney. He is a vile, disgusting, big government liberal, but at least he has the decency to come across honestly, as the phony he really is.
I’m surprised that with all the Tea Party victories we’ve had there is not a Tea Party candidate as a front runner in this 2012 campaign. Sarah Palin did so well in 2012 helping the GOP win those 2010 victories. I wonder what happened.
Prior to Perry’s entrance into the race, the entire field was playing it nice with each other. Nobody went after Romney.
Once Perry jumped in, everybody turned their guns on him.....including Romney!
Now, Romney is sitting on top with barely a scratch.
Way to go, conservatives! We are on the verge of nominating another RINO!!!!!
So what? I can’t tell them apart.
Perry's doing a good job of it himself.
Are you suggesting that no one should have challenged Perry? That by challenging Perry on a couple of issues it is the fault of conservatives that he is getting his ass handed to him in debates? Is that your position?
You'd be surprised at how many RINO hating republicans do not consider Romney a RINO. I've been noticing this the last several months. It's as if they forgot what he did as governor.
You didn't find it odd that leftist MSNBC hit Perry hard with questions from the right? Now that you mention it, it did sound like maybe they were getting those questions from conservative forums.
Did you find it odd that MSNBC did not ask Perry if he felt guilty for putting women's "health" at risk by defunding and putting out of business several Planned Parenthood clinics in Texas?
Surely MSNBC would be concerned about that. But nothing about it.
Why not ask Romney about his stance on immigration since he was hiring them to work at his home (more than once)?
Romney is the media's choice. He's this year's John McCain.
Polished? You mean, slick, right? He's much more "slick." Frankly, he so turns me off. Each and every time I see him, I cringe. Indeed, he has been running for POTUS for years now. Ho-hum. He's another slick, egotistical phoney. He and others like him sure have their "stage presence" down pat. I can only imagine the money he has spent over the years fine-tuning that "polished" look. Slick is more like it.
No. What I am saying is that we should have gotten rid of Romney as our first priority.
Nobody has laid a finger on Romney (well, Perry tried in his bumbling way) so far in this primary.
The attacks on Romneycare should be 1000% harsher than the attacks on HPV or illegal immigration.
Romney will not repeal Obamacare....and THAT should be our #1 priority!!!
If we fail to repeal Obamacare, it is game-over.
We are destroying the more-conservative candidates before destroying the clear RINOs. Romney and Huntsman should be the focus of our attacks first.
We are repeating what happened in 2008.
