Herman is impressive. People are liking him, as do I.
Cain is kicking ass
We need to protect ourselves against that, too.
Never Forget1
Cain my favorite too.
Huntsman made an ass of himself. His isolationism is ignorant, and the crowd ought to be ashamed for applauding him.
Disagree...she should have examined the First Amendment of our Constitution. Jefferson’s letter to the Baptists in CT is not the law. She blew it...sorry.
right, we have airplanes because the market can support their existance. I don’t think a border fence would be cost effective to build one. I have actually designed and built fence systems in real life.
Stage IV. All cancers love the liver.
None of these people are “illegals.” Some of them are Mexican nationals who work for American companies (the maquiladoras), and others are people at various stages of our complicated, Latin American-hostile immigration process, but all of them are in the process of becoming citizens.
Some of them even live in the US, and thus have been paying US taxes and TX local taxes for a long time. In fact, one of the reasons the US government has not been very hard on illegal immigration is that illegals (through their fake SS numbers) actually do pay payroll taxes and withholding, but these payments go to accounts from which there is never any collection.
Allow me to add to your questions (not foreign policy, but...): Congressman Paul: “Why do you blame the USA for 9-11?”
“Now the queer in the military... barf. He should be discharged.”
Santorum is right about this.
Thanks to what the current administration has done, it would be wildly unfair to kick out gay soldiers now.
That said, Sex issues have NO PLACE in the military. It’s about KILLING PEOPLE and blowing things up, not Social Engineering.
The drug lords will just launch the drugs over with a sling shot device. With all the money at stake, they will find a way.
Romney has managed to get to the right of Perry and is a much more polished debater. Santorum is having a good night as well, Newt a bit reserved tonight where he needed to stand out.
I agree with Ron Paul on about 90% of the issues; but boy, those 10% are something else.
FYI, the Rio Grande is not "giant". For most of the 1200 miles, it's maybe 50' wide and can be easily waded.
From Fort Hancock to Presidio, it's mostly salt cedar and sand...with an occasional puddle.
Your point stands however: The border is a river. And all a fence will do is give Mexico control of the river.
The Israelis know where to build fences. And where not to. There is no fence along the Jordan River, at the border with Jordan. Access to its water is too important -- for both livestock and humans.
As a consequence, the Jordan River border is secured by a patrol road, observation posts (well-armed) and sensors. No fence.
Agreed. Ron Paul sounds good tonight, and the audience agrees.
That he has. That he has...and his supporters have a hard time facing the truth of that. Such is politics. He could have chosen a different position - he did not.
Check it out, DRey.

but - do your homework.
Cain’s answer on Obamacare was the strongest of the night, IMO.
