What does Bush have to do with anything?

Bachmann does very well when she gets a chance to speak.

Perry and Romney are stumbling badly. They are getting bloodied and Palin is going to look like a genius for waiting. If she gets in, she will have a significant advantage because these nine will have exposed to weaknesses of each other without her having to do it herself.

Ron Paul sounds less crazy and more coherent tonight

Unfortunately, there's tomorrow, and the day after, etc. Crazy Ron will be back. :)

If THAT state is paying for it and not the feds. I do not like subsidizing anyone/thing. If a state wants to take its state tax dollars, a local community its tax dollars, and spend it on xyz, fine by me. I don't have to go to school there, do not live there.

I am not for feeding stray dogs, makes them stick around, but if the guy across town wants to feed him, fine by me.

Perry has some explaining to do IMO as to why he wants illegals to get free education and wants the other states citizens to pay for the full ride.

In-state tuition is not a free ride and I certainly missed where Perry said he wanted other states to pay for anyone's tuition in Texas.

Yes, he is absolutely electable. And if this country is unfortunate enough to experience any terrorist attack between now and the election, support for Newt will skyrocket!

>These kids MUST SHOW thathey are working toward citizenship to have the privilege of PAYING in state tuition rates.

They must SHOW that they have been residents for 3 years.
That is the only requirement that a US citizen must show if they also wish to participate.<

It’s too bad Perry didn’t point out the above in the debate.

If Perry is a pinata tonight, it is because he gave the others a stick.

I’m a Texan and Perry has been spewing that same garbage about boots on the border and surveillance etc for years. Always around election time. Perry is for open borders, don’t be fooled.

You don't need to be a Texan to understand that.

It's inordinately clear.

That response will prove to be the beginning of his decline. Some of his true colors were just exposed.
