In addition, have you noticed how Cain has been very articulate, yet ends right on the dot, time-wise?

No bloviating and blathering from Mr. Cain.

Needless to say, that gave me some pause, too.

Where did I put those antacids...

“If she’s serious about being a candidate she should be on stage tonight!”

WHY????
It’s not like she has ANY name recognition problems. And EVERYONE knows she will be the most Conservative candidate in the race, when she enters.

What does she POSSIBLY gain by being lost in the crowd with the wanna-be’s, and a political punching bag for the nutjobs and haters in the media?

He is...and like I said, he would be very valuable to the next administration. He’s just got too much personal baggage to be the next president.

And no...you’re right, hair color is irrelevant. I guess I would like to see us nominate someone younger and more energetic. Shallow, I know. :)

I don't like Perry's position on tuition for illegals, but keep in mind it is not free. It is in-state.

Plus, there are people who are going to be granted citizenship eventually. They are in the system already. There is no way they are going to be deported.

While I still don't agree with his position, I do think it is at least defensible given those parameters.

Hell, may as well let the children of bank robbers keep the cash. Same difference.

Exactly. If an ILLEGAL alien stole your car then gave it to his child to drive, you have no heart if you take your car from the child. So says Perry and his supporter/defenders.

Rick Perry is like George W. Bush only w/o the brains.

I do like Cain.

Say, has anyone noticed Rick Santorum has NOT taken on Mitt Romney at all???

I think Rick Santorum is running to be Mitt’s VP.

Well so far he has death with it by allowing all the illegals to get an in state tuition for college that they should have no ability to use without fraudulent documents.
What is the point of that?

Take away everything for illegals.

The problem is they all sound wonderful but I have no confidence they will deliver. I don’t care about rhetoric, I want results.

Perry got BOOED LOUDLY on illegals tuition discounts,

He got booed at the last debate too on illegals.

Did Perry ever answer the question on Pakistan? Sounded like he dodged it.

One point that Perry mentioned last time was that the illegals had to be in the Texas High School system for at least 3 years. The tuition isn't free, it's just the same as other Texas residents.

I don't agree with the policy, but 95% of the Texan Legislator agreed to pass the state law. The question should be what do you do with illegal children already in the system and supported by Fed law. Let the debate begin.

I live in TX and was never asked or given a vote on what I wanted. Perry and the legislature decided what was "best" for the rest of us in the state.

AGREE....I never got to vote on this, either :(

Perry is toast. He is done.

Well we can check the polls and if Perry drops below Bachmann, Newt and Romney then you could be right. If Perry remains the front runner then you are wrong.

The Feds will not deport them. The Feds go after local and State authorities who attempt to identify and/or deport them.

Who will make sure that “they’re out?”

It’s too bad Perry cannot say, “look we’re stuck with these bloodsucking lazy illegals because the Feds won’t do their part. The best we can do is make sure their kids don’t turn out to be bums. That’s why I support in-state tuition.”

I dunno. I don’t live in state with illegals running amuck. I’m guessing TX is sick of supporting them, so they’re trying to help the kids make something of themselves. *shrug*>

AMEN from Texas!
