Or at least *try* to be the best, which HP doesn’t any more.

That still makes her better than Carly, who has no success on paper or otherwise. ;-)

Meg Whitman’s funding people are funding Mitt Romney.
We can now assume that HP will be funding Mitt Romney.

Here's a scary thought: Whitman and Fiorina, RINO losers though they may be and inbred though they may be, have probably forgotten more about how to run a real money making business that your average DemocRAT in political power in California will ever know.

I guess she's gonna finish the job Carly Fiorina started.
Of finishing off HP, I mean.

I wonder if her first executive order will be to change the window dressings in the fleet of executive jets; or to change the decor of the Corporate office ....Is that what you would do?
It sounds like you don't like women very much. Maybe you've had to work for them and didn't enjoy the experience.
As a matter of fact Meg Whitman took a company with 30 employees and revenues of less than $5 million and turned it into a company with more than 15,000 employees and 8 BILLION in revenues. She did that in less than 10 years.
And you?

Blame the Board of Directors. Theyre completely dysfunctional...To paraphrase an article I saw this morning with some analyst comments:
- We give the board credit for dismissing CEOs after being deemed unsuitable,
- Why does the board keep hiring CEOs that are unsuitable?

Hp is clueless. I think this is 7 or 8 CEOs since 1999.

I have an HP Pavilion zd8000 that will be six years old in 3 months. It’s been used every and been on most of the day ever since. Other than the battery dieing 2 years ago it’s never had a problem. Other than being heavier than the new computers it does everything I would want a computer to do. If Meg take a look at that model and what they were doing in 2005, maybe HP can turn things around.

I have two HP laptops. Both work like a charm. BUT... they do load up the machines with a lot of unnecessary crap when they ship them. I always remove as much of that as I can. And I judiciously use a firewall, as some of the stuff you cannot remove tries to “call home.” Always use virus s/w and regularly defrag.

It’s the voters fault if you think about it. Should of elected this woman to an inconsequential Senate seat.

Whitman also served on the board of directors of the eBay Foundation, Procter & Gamble and DreamWorks SKG, until early 2009.[13][34] She was appointed to the board of Goldman Sachs in October 2001 and then resigned in December 2002, amidst controversy that she had received shares in several public offerings managed by Goldman Sachs.[35][36][37] (see "Ties to Goldman Sachs" for further detail)Source

HP makes pure junk and their support is horrendous.
The USBs ports on my laptop failed two months ago. I've been trying to fix it w/HP since that time. I was on the phone with tech support for over TWO hours yesterday and was transferred to at least TEN different people. I gave up and emailed HP. I got a canned email directing me to call a different HP phone number. I'm furious! HP "support" and customer service is beyond bad.
This is my THIRD HP laptop that is totally messed up. Add it to the 1 $600 laser printer that doesn't work and a defective all-in one that's sitting in my closet. I will NEVER ever buy another HP product ever again. EVER.
New Dell XPS 17" notebook i7 is on the way! Ha!

YEP!! She sure can!! There is a world of difference between getting fools to sell and buy stuff on Ebay and running what used to be the leading technology and computer leading edge company! This is the end of HP!

I do have a 30 year old HP spectrum analyzer that is still kicking butt, but that was when HP did great test equipment. That's Agilent, not HP.
They should've spun off the pc biz under the agilent brand and kept the hp name honest with the test equip....unfortunately, all the test mainframes are really pc's under the hood now too. sigh.
