any connection to the Toledo IHOP raids yesterday?
To: Disambiguator
I love that!
Look at the moron comments. 1st, insulting to Moslems; 2nd, what makes you think it’s Moslem? 3rd, you’re racist for thinking it’s Moslem!
(Never mind the “extreme Christians are crazy” stupidity, not even citing what they do....)

Ah, a “bomb denoted”....generally it denotes someone wants to kill someone.
An attorney; now the pieces are coming together. Perhaps a hit on someone causing too much “trouble”?

Yes, but OTOH, it is almost always (in a car) just 1 person, not a whole flock of Moslems.
And it’s looking like I was right about it NOT being Moslems.

After spending yesterday in court with the vindictive ex wife and her lawyer I am not surprised to see something like this happen. Sad that people get hurt over domestic squabbles (If that is the case).

Huh? About what are you talking? Your own case or you know this person? You don’t know, though. Comments are misleading.

Oh goodness no, I was venting about the ex and I in court which has NOTHING to do with this.

I’m no Columbo but I’m betting that it was Mexican drug cartel hit.

I think it may be a domestic case. The driver was an attorney and was taking his kids to a CYO soccer game, and the bomb detonated under the passenger seat, where one of his sons was sitting.
Probably some client has a grudge against him (possibly child custody or divorce?) and wanted to destroy his family. I think this will probably be pretty easy to find out.
This was a personal vendetta.

I’ll buy that. It’s not like the Mexican drug cartels need me to give them a bad name.

Yep. I think so too. A bomb under the seat— that’s personal. Somebody willing to kill the kids too? That’s just spectacular evil, blind rage. The list of suspects can’t be very long.

Thanks very much for the ping/link this morning, thouworm. I was off FR shortly after posting and did not see your ping but did hear about it on the car radio coming home this evening. Much appreciated. Thanks for all of your terrific posts on the forum.

I'm unclear - I've had issues getting on-board the interwebs - (if this' already been discussed on the MI board you can sue me), but that notwithstanding, nevertheless, all that and whatnot, has
terrosism been ruled out?
Has anybody aksed the qwexion why? Isn't that the primordial ephalant in the room?
Has anybody considered this was just an accident, e.g., unusually large concentrations of extraterrestrial gas, while the Reno air-race was actually a terrorist event?

That does not compute. Logic dysfunctional.

Three facts stand out.
- How far from Islamic enclave in Dearborn?
- Victim is a lawyer who handles divorce cases
- Victim's are Catholic

He’s a lawyer. Narrowing the field of potential enemies could be a lengthy process.
