How much u wanna bet on that? This is not Washington State or Minnesota. We still have the New York Post here. Hey, didn't we see the same posts from people like you on election night when Christie clobbered Corzine in New Jersey?

Hehehe, shall we say: hasta la vista, Obama?

Maybe I wasn’t reading it right but I’d swear the NV SOS page showed over 50% of the votes counted the last time I looked. Now it is barely 10%. Either there was an error somewhere or the Dems are up to more shenanigans. In any case all the opinion seems to be that Amodei wins easily there. Wish they would call it though so I can go to bed with at least one race completed.
NY 9 is still very close. I would not declare victory yet.

You bet! I was there in my hometown of Menomonie, WI. Unfortunately we have UW-Stout there, and the demoRAT consistently votes (or steals) approx 55-60% of the votes. Thank God for conservative Waukesha county which turned the demoRATs strategy on them by slowly reporting.

All of NYC has changed a lot over the years. None of it for the good IMHO.I hear ya. I don't live in NYC, but live close enough to have seen many changes there over my lifetime (I've lived in NJ and CT).
Actually parts of NYC are a LOT better now than than back during the 1970s...

I left in 1982. but my parents lived there until my mother passed and dad moved to Florida. My kid brother still lives in the district, although not in the neighborhood where we grew up.

So far, just over 25% of the Brooklyn precincts have been counted and Turner has a 2,100 vote lead there. If that holds — a big IF — he’ll amass an 8,000 vote lead in Brooklyn. No way that Weprin can overcome that with well over half of Queens already in.

Hey, nothing would please me more. Can't you just let me be a concern troll for five minutes? I just read on the other thread that Turner's people went to court to look at some ballots. I suspect they're in for a long night.

The Weigel blog on Slate just noted:
Dave Weigel of Slate.com has just called the race for Turner. 11:20: There's simply not enough of a Weprin margin in Queens to let him overcome the coming Turner landslide in Brooklyn. This is over, even if the AP waits a while to call it.
