I think we need our guys to be here.
We need them lined up all around the edges,
and in the nooks and cranies of this great country.
Sometimes I’m afraid that is why they have been
put elsewhere - because we are being invaded -
ever so quietly.

Did I miss her announcement? As of this moment, she’s not running.

You know what the context was...and it wasn't "as of this moment"...you don't say to drop it or forget it unless you mean for good...not for the moment...

Since he was talking about the young, and becoming contributing members, he was probably meaning those brought here by their parents through no fault of their own.

He thinks that’s best for the state of Texas to have those kids working on their education rather than being a burden on the state just hanging around getting in trouble.

He also made a point that no one heard, or at least didn’t respond to: “we share a 1200 mile border with Mexico”. He talked about them having agreements with one another.

I know that Ohio has an agreement with Kentucky (and probably Indiana, PA, MI, and WV, too) called “reciprocity” regarding in-state tuition for those in border counties getting reciprocal in-state tuition if they go to the other state’s schools. That makes sense to me.

It highlights to me that Texas just might have very good bordering country reasons for dealing differently with Mexico than does Ohio, and for the same reason that Ohio has good reason to have special arrangements with kentucky et al.

I just watched it again on TIVO. I wasn't paying close attention the first time, but after watching it the second time, I think you are probably right.

For all intents and purposes, she just called Rick Perry a crook. Hard to endorse a guy after that, and somewhat surprising in that she just endorsed him for Governor two years ago and didn't seem to have a problem with it then.

Very strange. I'm no longer sure how this plays out from here.

Sorry you feel that way. I was trying to be helpful in a decision that may become hazardous to children whom really do not know better.

Thank you for your kind description of me...

Like it or not comrade, we all are mandated to take vaccines.

I'm not your comrade, commies have been my enemy for about 60 years now.

Ever been to public schools?

Yeah, with time off when I had mumps, measles and chicken pox. None of which I acquired while rubbing genitals.

What exactly is it that makes you think you're a conservative? Do you support Obamas mandates as well as Perry's or are you a pick and choose statist?

If you mean about Romney dragging her everywhere when she was ill and should have been in bed...

you might read it again

its a black mark against your uncaring Willie Mitty

not his wife...

as a mormon wife shes obligated to obey him and his unreasonable selfish demands...

regardless of her own health...

Well then she should have gone after Romney on RomneyCare which is 100% a law in place.
it may have been an accurate description of the appearance of a conflict of interest, but she alleged he basically took a bribe - just not right. And if she was going to throw out allegations, she could have thrown out hundreds against obama.

well you can be sure of one thing. this issue will be fully investigated and if there’s anything there it’ll come out.

I also had the same impression of his five grand remark. He wasn’t offended at the suggestion of being bought. He was offended that it only took 5 grand out of a 30 million haul.

She should have said “So, Governor, if it was say a few million then that would been enough for you?”

It’s like the line about what kind of woman do you think i am?

I love Sarah, but she campaigned for McCain and helped to destroy the life of a good conservative along the way

I could not think of who you meant here--please let me know. Thanks.

Michele was tough tonight. However, she is 100 percent correct that if this is not done in 2013 we are stuck with Obamacare for life. The full implementation takes place in 2014. I think people need to remember that. She is very schooled on it because it seems to be her passion to get rid of it. I think she was tough tonight but really no more difficult than any guy on the panel. They just don’t have that high pitched voice.

“And candidates in any primary will always make criticisms of opponents that the other party can use in the general election. Has always been that way and always will be. “

That’s why incumbancy is a huge advantage. 0 is gathering amunition at these debates.

If governor Palin does not jump in the race before Iowa caucuses, and preferably before thanksgiving, it will be way too late after that.
