The problem is that Romney’s and Bachmann’s criticism of Perry’s position on SS is a lie. I have a real problem with liars.

I am amazed at how many Freepers jump on polls like these and celebrate when they turn around and say that the PPP poll in NY is not to be trusted. This is a CNN poll...how is it much different. The problem is that they polled registered voters, not likely voters. They had a sample of just a little over 900 people, but only 400 registered Republicans. This poll lines up with others, yes, but it doesn’t take likely voters into account and it only asks for a small portion of Republican votes.

If Palin gets in now, that will help Romney and she will still not be the nominee. She has NOTHING to gain by getting in. She will be an influence if she remains on the sidelines.

Bachmann was expected to win Iowa. If Perry wins Iowa, it is likely he can run the table.

Well, unlike you, we know Obama = Bush = Perry is not real. It’s in your mind and you endlessly prate it. In the real world, doesn’t make it true.

The excitement is, unless we muck this up, Romney is going down.

The excitement is to get Obama and Co out and get Harry Reid fired like Pelosi was.

Either that, or this nation is gone.

Hate to break it to you folks, but ALL the polling is done by MSM/REP EST, and they ALL have an agenda of some sort.

I say this regardless of the numbers my candidate gets, good or bad.

To you folks that take any poll as Gospel, It completely boggles my mind. Many of you that fall for these polls are normally under most circumstances very intelligent people, so it is very puzzling.

Pollsters do not make stuff up? It`s not like it`s a crime to manipulate a poll, nobody goes to jail.

Speaking of ponzy schemes.

Some amount of sarcasm (toward TPaw) in the post (i.e. the exclamation point).

That said, Gov. Rick Perry is the best GOP POTUS candidate* in the present field.

CNN wants nothing more than to sink Perry, if they were going to manipulate the poll they would of showed Perry losing the lead after their debate.

But instead the poll shows their attempt to detroy Perry at the debate failed miserably, and Perry is still the front runner by double digits.

this is the only poll that’s been done since the debate, that’s what makes this one so important.

calling Perry a RINO is about as silly as calling George Wallace PC.

Don't be silly. Perry is not Sarah Palin. Therefore, ipso facto, he MUST be a RINO!

And they held it until 6AM today.

Romney is doing internal polling as are all the others, thus the alignment of Romney, Bachman and Pawlenty to block Perry and put Romney on the ticket.

Giuliani, I believe, was leading 4 years ago. Giuliani fell because of personal issues that make him unelectable. You can go back to threads of that day to see what is meant, but the short of it is serial women, drag parades, and general social behavior and policies that rendered him dead in the water as soon as anyone really thought about it.

He was leading because of the sympathetic number of repubs who were thinking of 9/11 rather than of electability.

He remains, however, the single best public speaker in all of US politics. It is a shame he is not a conservative.

exactly!

I KNEW if Romney had gotten a big bump from that debate that the pollsters would of been hyping that to the limit, the fact that they hadn’t told me Perry was still way ahead.

I never post anything usually, so I probably messed something up, but I was so excited about this that I had to post it since no one else had.

I knew last week the polls for Perry were still very good...that’s why we saw none last week.

“calling Perry a RINO is about as silly as calling George Wallace PC”

OK. What name would you prefer for an open borders/pro-amnesty, big government tax hiker who will do nothing to solve this country’s critical problems?
