The chicoms have a river border with the norks... one cannot possibly cross that river... the chicoms will do what is needed to stop you. If you try... they will shoot you dead... but they will wait until you are in the middle... and they do not retrieve your body.
We must have an Israeli styled wall where possible... but we need to make it impossible for illegals to live in our Republic... we need to pass a law that states that if you are found in this country illegally... you CAN NEVER BECOME A CITIZEN. If you are caught more than once... you get the death penalty.
Pass a law that will seize all company assets if an employer willfully employs illegals... and I am talking about mitt's mansions here too. If that does not work... invade mexico and kill enough of them off until they get the message... and take their oil and resources before we wall them back up. I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR THESE MURDERING TURD WORLD, DISEASE RIDDEN SCUMBAG ENEMIES.

Timeline is important. The letter is dated two months after the inauguration, 6 months before Hillary testified before congress and 8 months before legislation was introduced.
It's a conscientious elected official writing on behalf of his constituents as Hillary embarked on her healthcare reform task force.
Spinning it as support for what Hillary ultimately came up with is a lie of epic proportions.
She has given many lectures since she got her MSNBC show after Air America went broke. Her economic stimulus lectures on how food stamps and welfare creates jobs are the best. This about sums it up.
That is one reason why that stage represented the worst lineup of candidates representing the Conservative movement that the republicans have ever put forth... good thing that group is not static. ANY FREEPER acting as an adviser would have briefed their candidate on this most damning study. I knew about it 3 hours after it was released... no excuses at this level! They were not prepared... period.
Cain was the best last night... when he talked... he knew his answers from his heart. newt turned in the absolutely best performance... but so do many liberal actors.

None of the rest have that kind of guts---its called leadership. Few of the others except maybe Newt have it.
I know you detest Rick Perry but you're grasping at straws.
This is the boilerplate letter and language of a professional person: "Thank you for doing X, please consider Y. Let me know if I can help."
Nope. Newt is very smart. He has a lot of good ideas. His problem is that he is unreliable and that the 5% of the time when he is wrong, he is really scarily and frighteningly wrong. When he is right, no one is righter or knows better why he is right.

I saw this and thought i’d pass it along. I googled the Mankiw guy and he’s written so much on Keynes it’s scary.

Since he just gave congrats to Krueger on being hired by Obama, a little about him as well:
-——None of the rest have that kind of guts——
Cain offered support and forced his way in to make the point. He also is fearless in making his points.
Perry did what he wanted. He captured the whole campaign and directed the discussion henceforth
There are huge portions of the border with Jordan that have no wall -- just empty land between the two countries, and no land mines either. If Israel can leave parts of its border without a wall, I believe there are places in Texas that don't need walls either.
Saying Perry wants "open borders" is a non-starter. If you want to disagree with his approach to border control, fine. There are parts I don't like either.
No sense pretending he wants an open border with no restrictions though. That is an untruth.

But to say that a conservative person, who talks about limited government and other conservative ideas, is toxic, to me just sounds silly.
Even if Palin decides not to run, her comments will be welcome by me as productive and good for the overall conservative movement.
I know it's an important election, but all this in-fighting over the two is very often disturbing to me. I saw it last time, and we eventually ended up with McCain for our efforts.
So after all is said and done, Sarah, by not being there, is in a far better position than any of them.

“Let me get this straight. You want to uncap the payroll tax, but leave benefits capped?”
You have me confused with another poster. (which is understandable in a thread this long :-)
If you look at the Gardasil FR threads from those days opposition fell largely into a couple camps: those who are anti-vaccine and those who believe the HPV vaccine was a commentary on the morals of their daughters.
You cannot have an effective opt-in vaccine health policy. The numbers of persons availing themselves are minuscule and do nothing for the public health. Insurance and gov't programs won't cover them. Mandatory vaccinations are nothing new. Neither is an opt-out policy.
Gardasil is so safe and effective it's been approved for males as well to combat several other cancers linked to the HPV strains it targets.
CDC says 7,500 U.S. men are newly diagnosed with HPV oral, genital or anal cancers yearly. CDC also says 12,000 American women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 4,000 die each year.
I cannot imagine the world where you argue this is not a legitimate health issue when the vaccine can prevent 20,000 new cancer cases every year.
