I guess that makes me a Scientologist, because Ive posted repeatedly that Palin holds a special position because there is no one not even George W. Bush who has been the subject of the Democratic, mainstream media and left-blogosphere smear machine to the extent Palin has.
So yes, I do take it personally when conservatives lash out at Palin not because of her policy positions or what shes done or not done in her career, but with personal invective.
Its not religion, its a cold hard understanding of what is to come, and how those who call Palin a diva or a tease or any of the other names coming from media conservatives do damage to us all. Palin is simply the test case for how the Republican nominee, whoever that person may be, will be treated, and we pile on her at our own peril.
**snip**
Simply by waiting to announce, Palin has driven media conservatives mad. It all seems so familiar.

And yes, there are some cretins that deserved to be atttacked, you just happen to be one of them. Sorry about that. Maybe you ought to consider changing.
Comparing Palin to Scientology = garbage.
Comparing Perry to Obama = garbage.
If we don't get our act together, we are going to blow this golden opportunity to rid the world of Obama because we are mired in search of the "perfectly pure" candidate.
I wonder who he is talking about?
But then came my experience with the Palinistas. These are the people like Brices, Diogenesis, South40, Red South, et al.
So I am a "Palinista" now? Did you know that onyx? :-)
So much to poke fun at and so little time. Maybe later.
Candidates have to be able to raise and budget funds effectively. They have to build organizations in most if not all states. They have to debate other candidates and argue their ideas with them in public forums
The reasons I see given for Sarah not getting in I read as: she doesn't want to do what it takes to be a candidate.
For months, I've said I want everyone who could beat Obama to run, to get in and fight for it, so that we could see how good, or bad, a candidate they are and would be in the general election.
I like Sarah, but it's time to enter the race.
I was recently called "Satan Boy" by a Palin supporter. It was last week sometime. I can probably find it when I get home.
Actually, if you're interested, just search my posts - It was not so long ago.
Can not argue with you there.
Or you can get raw with these strings. Either way, the violin is sweet yet lethal.
Do it!
I invite you to join the “Cult of Palin @ Trollhenge”. we give them/respond with the mockery they deserve. Nothing shuts them up faster than catering to the stereotype. They can’t get the rise so they drop the tactic of ‘cultist, palinista etc.
Be nice to have an adult conversation with them, but it’s impossible when your opponent acts like a catty schoolgirl. So we mock. ;)

So Palin is... indecisive, unable to show leadership, going celeb, stringing people along, boring and has jumped the shark... all because she is going to announce in September.
If you don't want Palin that's fine, but please spare us the nonsense.
Be safe and I hope you run into GREAT SALES!

Thanks for coming out of the closet CA, but most of us knew what kind of a steaming pile you were anyway.
Your comments have absolutely glowed with hatred of the woman that will be our next president, and all who support her.

Kung Fu say:
“Faint heart not win fair maiden.”
If you never buy the ticket, you can’t win the lottery.
The whole “purity” thing is a red herring anyway. Someone is either a conservative demonstrated by deed, not word, or they arent.
If a candidate is conservative, A conservative should support them. If someone wants to say that conservatives should abandon what they believe in just to win, then what’s the point of being conservative at all? Shouldn’t we just say to hell with everything and vote for the most winning candidate of either party because then we will have backed the winner?
Can’t be both ways folks. That’s reality. Words mean things and some here have forgotten that, if they ever believed it to begin with. Some Freepers need to step back and really think about what they REALLY believe. Then act accordingly.
That simple.
>> “IMHO, she’s the real deal...out in front leading.” <<
.
Amen!
Im becoming more amazed every day at how politically naive so many Freepers are.
Palin has it well under control. Her every word drives the Mediots and GOP thugs nuts.
That's a lie - I have never said anything to indicate I hate Sarah - I just don't think she can win, and I don't think she is ready for the job (yet). If you consider that to be "hatred", then you are confirming the point made by Erickson and Coulter.
...that will be our next president,...
That is extremely unlikely.
...and all who support her.
Not ALL who support her - just the ones like you. And hatred is probably a little strong - disgust, dismay revulsion, maybe.
What...the fair sex can be petty ? Say it ain't so!
Nonsense.
Palin is free to announce when she wants to announce and Fox is free to dismiss her when they think that she is running.
I'll tell you what is unethical.
Perry taking a public paycheck to be a full time governor and Perry running for president, a full time responsibility.
