Great speech! Sarah is one smart cookie.

States have different rules than Feds, and the Alaska business climate is great according to the Tax Foundation.
However, she raised taxes on corporations in Alaska, already among the highest in the Nation. This in spite of the fact that checks have been going out to citizens form oil and gas funds since the 80’s. http://www.taxfoundation.org/taxdata/topic/11.html
The Alaska constitution evidently maintains the mineral rights to land for the State. In addition, while Alaska doesn’t have income tax or sales tax, they do collect state taxes on private property.
It’s true that the oil companies weren’t producing as expected, but she did resort to a contract do-over on the oil companies that had begun under Governor Murkowski.
I’m still trying to understand exactly all that happened with the increased oil profits taxes from 22.5% to 25%, the bids for the pipeline and the leases on the gas fields.
Hand picked preferably
Keeper picture!
Campaign Carl tried to smear her, IMO, with a smile on his face.
Hamby made up for Carl on cnn!
Is that right? Rush sent cases of his tea?
Some GOP candidates, they also raise mammoth amounts of cash, she said. We need ask them, too: What, if anything, do their donors expect from their investments? We need to know this because our country cant afford more trillion-dollar thank you notes to campaign backers.
WE have not seen her like before.
A number of posters at CP4 made reference to someone handing out bottles Rush (or someone) had sent to the rally...
You said that well....!!! Agreed!!!
Ok, I listened to the whole thing. She is NOT running for president. :(
Don’t worry your pumpkin little head, not only is she running she is going to win in a landslide.
Go Ducks
I agree with your recommendation for all - even long term supporters of Palin - to watch the Undefeated. Watch it carefully. Pay attention. The woman - more than any politician I’ve ever seen - has a core set of principles that have guided her life. The movie demonstrates these principles time and time again, molding her actions in every political office she’s held or sought. So, it is clear that what we are presently witnessing is the extrapolation of what were first local, then state-wide, principles in the process of being extrapolated to a national stage. Her speech today (which I agree was her best short of the VP acceptance speech) simply was Palin principles writ national stage. No doubt in my mind she’s running and has been since the day after the ‘08 election. She knew - and vocalized better than anyone - what we were getting in Obama and she knew the incredibly deleterious effects he would have on our great nation.
Schoolyard insults from her supporters do not do her any credit, bray.

They are afraid of her. If she wins, it will change the dynamic in the country. Women of all kinds will support her. http://nyti.ms/qKLp7x

Wow - even NYT liked @SarahPalinUSA #IA: Palin Rails Against ‘Crony Capitalism’ and ‘Career Politicians’ http://nyti.ms/qKLp7x
I’m not saying I don’t want her to run, I’m saying I think she MAY decide her role is on the outside of DC, where she can rile up the masses to take back this country....JMHO
Bump to read later
“The Undefeated” did a great job telling Sarah’s journey to where she is now.
I always supported her, but do so with even more confidence after seeing the film. She is even tougher than I thought. I have no doubt she will be a great president, make that a 2 term president.
I’d say more, but I don’t want to spoil the way the movie unfolds for those who have not yet seen it.
